“I have been to several Five Guy's in CT and NY and this one takes the cake. The place is super clean, with employees walking around and cleaning ever 5-10 minutes. The staff are friendliest as can be and always go above and beyond. The food is awesome of course but a Five Guy's experience here is like no other.“

“Visited SDW last week for lunch with a chef pal who has several restaurants overseas. When he is Stateside, he always searches for staple foods done right. Gary and the crew delivered on all fronts. My go-to is the New Englander, and it never disappoints. My buddy had the Chicagoan and loved it. We both got a burger as well, which was cooked perfectly and impressively juicy. We were both taken aback by the hand-cut fries with S&P. We commented on how hard it is to consistently turn out such high-quality, short-order potatoes, and Gary gave us a detailed rundown of their process. After a lengthy discussion, including the merits of whole-belly clams vs. strips, Gary even gave us an order of hand-battered onion rings to try, which were also stellar. Super Duper is the real deal, from the menu to the people!“

“My family swooned when I offered to go to Merritt Canteen for Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwiches on fresh, warm Portugese rolls with their SPICY chili. I cannot eat this sandwich without making the Mmmm sound, I don't even realize that I'm doing it. I also ordered a container of the chili to bring back home, ate breakfast like a happy king for a week.“

I had a chicken salad sandwich and mozzarella sticks. Sandwich was jam packed with chicken salad and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. “Went here at 3 am on a weekend. I was surprised to get fresh hot fires at that time of the morning, double cheese and nuggets were also fresh. I went thru the drive thru the attendant was pleasant. It took no more than 7 minutes to order and pay. Pleasantly surprised“

I ordered 2 because the last time I had them at the McDonald's near Branford CT in 2017 they were skinny as toothpicks. Well I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw what I got this time. Very large fresh tasty burritos. Hot and wonderful. McDonald's has changed for the better. The price was also very reasonable. I even got BOGO FREE. The establishment was very neat and clean. Definitely can recommend. I purchased from the Norwalk location on Connecticut avenue near Costco. A+“

“It’s a nice alternative to Chipotle and Taco Bell. Definitely more flavor than Taco Bell, but not as varied in taste as Chipotle. I like it because QDOBA focuses on the savory more traditional tasting Tex-Mex Taco. And prices are reasonable. The staff here is very friendly and they seem to be more vested in the success of the restaurant and satisfaction of the customers more than the other chains. The one in Norwalk CT is actually very clean.“

“Don't know how true this is about other McDonald's, but at the Fairfield circle one, more often than not, if you're drive-thru, you are told to park your car, and they will deliver your drive-thru order curbside. Lots of waiting. Lots of parked cars. I suspect the staff does this now to circumvent the "wait time" limits corporate puts on franchises. Super annoying.“
