Fast Food Restaurants near Darien

“Connecticut’s legendary and exclusive fast food eatery! With a magnificently large menu, drive-thru service, and greasy American classics, it’s hard to go wrong with Duchess when you need quick bite off I-95.I can’t say I’ve had massively varying experiences at different locations, which I believe is a stated goal of chain restaurants.

Vegetarian options: Beyond burger is good.“

“I went to Shake Shack in Darien and I was impressed with the amazing service I got from a high-schooler named Kevin. His attention to detail and niceness stood out and really made my experience memorable. He was also great at making sure that his coworkers correctly made the food as I heard him yelling orders to them. The food was great, but the service from this gentleman made the visit exceptional.“

“On a trip to CT from NJ, we stopped for lunch at this Chipotle that is in a rest area along Rt 95. We ordered four burrito bowls for the four of us. The food came quickly and was decent and plentiful. If we are going on the route, we may stop here again.“

“This was the first Rest Stop I had been to in ages. We were in Darien,Ct
and the only thing I get at McDonalds is their Small Vanilla Shake. There were no seats or benches like usual, I guess they expect you would eat in your car. It was immaculate. Cleanest Rest Stop ever. Lots of Teens, as there were several Fast Food places to choose from and Restrooms were sparkling. Easy to find Parking, Handicap too and Gas.
If ever up this way be sure to pull over and freshen up!

Parking: Gas spots were on a diagonal with about 12 pumps. Handicap had only 4 spaces but maybe more on the other side. Plentynof parking, yes you might walk a bit if you hit a busy period.

Kid-friendliness: They had all types of mechanical games for the kids, plenty of room for them to run and play inside

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap Parking right near the Entrance, Ramp for WC, large area inside to move around but no tables.“
