“Doesn't look too appetizing from the picture LOL, but this is the Italian Sausage footlong with peppers and onions (and other toppings), with the Savory Caesar sauce squeezed on top. This Subway's is located in the CT Welcome Center Rest Area. Food options inside include Chipotle, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Sbarro's, etc. Opted to order a footlong sandwich from Subway's and a steak bowl from Chipotle. This Subway's was like any other typical Subway, same bread choices and toppings. The customer service at this location tonight was A+ though. Khalif and Leeka (sorry for butchering the spelling of your names) were fun and entertaining. Khalif was super enthusiastic about being there, very polite and smiley, and overall wonderful to interact with. For those wondering how the Savory Caesar sauce tastes like, it's pretty good! Leeka and Khalif made me a cucumber sauce sandwich for me to try out the sauce before I took the plunge and had it squeezed all over my sandwich. The mini cucumber sandwich was mad cute. “We stopped in on a dreary day over Christmas break while visiting family in Stamford. We felt the warmth and love as soon as we walked through the door. We ordered bagels and coffee. Coffee was self-service, hot and delicious. Our bagels were brought to our table, fresh and warm. The owner welcomed us like we were family. The atmosphere, food, and hospitality make this gem a perfect spot.“
“This is the place to go if you're looking for a fresh ingredient sandwich! I ordered the taste of Tuscany which included two types of deli meat and lots of veggies! It is more of a grab and go place, only having 2 small tables but the staff is friendly and provided quick service. They have many menu options ranging from breakfast to hot and deli sandwiches.“

“I am married to a Russian woman and we love coming here because they offer such great Russian and Ukrainian products. We love their selection of foods because it reminds us of food from her home country. We love their Kvass and Syrok and sunflower seeds. We also love their freshly made salads. They taste so good and they're so authentic. When you go there, you always feel like you're back in Russia or Ukraine. Overall, I would recommend this deli if you want an excellent taste of Slavic food from Eastern Europe. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!“
“Our bridge group has picked up our sandwiches here for years. The staff knows our names and orders...mine is a 14, another always orders a 4. Best sandwich though is probably the curried chicken salad on a croissant with Brie. Need I say more?“
“Living a town over from Uncles Deli I have always been a fan of this place. It's great for a quick bite, and I have recommend this deli to many people not from around here. I will say the service is a little overwhelming when they get really busy, but just stand your ground and know what you want! You can also call ahead - I usually do to avoid the lunch crowd! One of my favorites is the Californian which is a wrap. If you're looking for something on the lighter side it's really good! Overall it's just your classic deli!“
