“Really good sandwiches and the owner made the experience even better. She was so friendly - we talked as she made my sandwiches (the Cubana , enchilada, and chavo del 8) - even though she knew I am not a local (was just passing by as I caught the Bridgeport ferry back to LI) with my family; she made me feel so valued. The best part was that everyone loved the sandwiches, even my kids, who can be really picky eaters. Thank you Mary Ellen!!

“Subway needs a hungry man to serve a great sandwich. Obviously too corporate most subways micro manage silly tiny pieces of cheese and meat. “My husband had a taste for a Subway sandwich, so we stopped at a rest stop, only to find that the Subway was closed. Most of the Subway stores were closed by 10 pm, except this one. I wasn't fond of the sole worker in the store; I felt she needed a security guard in the store with her. She didn't look frightened to be alone in the store. Anyway, she made our sandwiches to order, and they were great. I don't know if we'll ever go back, but if it's late, we probably will.“
