“A+ We have called for delivery numerous times and every time the food has arrived hot and the beverages cold, ready to enjoy. Food is plentiful and every option chosen tasted as good as hoped. I absolutely recommend this wonderful restaurant. The staff is without question pleasant and personable.“
“Love me some Shake Shack!!!!!! I could eat this everyday. The one in Darien is the closest to us living in Stamford and our go to. The people are always nice who work there and the tables are always clean! Next time you go try the lemonade mixed with the strawberry lemonade, it's delicious!“
“I'm not one to write reviews but we just moved to the area. Every time I've ordered from Blue Cactus Grill it has not disappointed. SOOO happy we found a place we love to eat at! VERY KIND customer service, so grateful we established our go to spot :)“
“Love Mexican food and tried this place. Did not disappoint in food, drinks or service. Jess was an attentive and positive server. We had fajitas supreme and enchiladas suisse, both delicious. Cadillac margaritas were some of the best. We will be back!“
“The first time we visited Boss Burger was last summer. The AC must have been stressed that day because it was uncomfortably hot inside the restaurant. That colored the experience and we were not impressed. It took us another 8 months to return, but I'm glad we did. The ambience here, with the small dining area, self serve drinks, TV sports, and tight tables is not the greatest frankly, but the service is friendly and the sirloin burgers and assorted fries are truly exceptional. And the burger presentation is great, with top quality meat and buns, and a terrific assortment of options to customize your burger. We will definitely be going back.“
“Truly the best donuts I’ve had in Connecticut! My favourite was the glazed donut which melts in mouth.I tried the everything bagel too, with cream cheese it was really soft and fresh! Highly recommended.Last but not the least, the ambience and environment of the store has a classic vibe.“
“Honestly speaking I would eat here before I eat at chick fil a. The customer service is awesome. The harmony within the business is amazing. Everything is very clean and fresh. Good music definitely a place you want to take your family to get a burger.“
“A jewel box of a restaurant. Intimate and cozy with great attention to detail from the food to the decorating. Owner, Michelle, is welcoming and pays great attention to ensuring her guests have a special dining experience. My friend and I had dinner there last evening and it was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a long time.Thank you for such a wonderful evening.Martha Spiegel“
“Is it an authentic Chicago dog? Nope. Bun needs poppy seeds, the meat must be Vienna beef, the dog is steamed not split and fried, the pickle should be a spear, and the relish should be electric green. But is it a good dog? Yep, quite tasty. And the fries are great.“
“Best Family-owned business in Norwalk! Great people, great food, nice place to sit and eat.I HIGHLY recommend their chili dogs, chili burger, anything with chili on itParking: Parking lot is right behind the building. Plenty of spaces to park.“
“Delicious burger and chicken sandwich. The fries are amazing, cooked and seasoned perfectly. got to sit outside during the summer, as there is much more seating than the previous sandwich shop. Service was great, people are all extremely friendly. I ordered a ton of food, like 10-12 burgers and sandwiches, and the order was completed very quickly.“
“Unassuming place, personal attention from owners of this family-owned business. Huevos rancheros and everything else was delicious. Including grilled chicken and pancakes (with a mound of mango) for kids, Huge portions. Inexpensive. Love it. Will go back for dinner next time.“
“It’s not high end French. It’s all around great American. Very good food. Large portions. Very friendly atmosphere. My favs are the end cut prime rib and the Liguini with clams. Not on the same night. The specials are also great. Tonight I had Duck. Prices are very reasonable.“
“This place has consistently been a bedrock of good food and ambiance in Norwalk. Happy to see it's still doing well with all those things that make it great. The food is awesome ?, portion size is good, prices are fair and the table service is excellent.“
“I luv the atmosphere from the wood burning fireplace and the exposed wood beams it’s just has a really cozy feel. There food is excellent I highly recommend there french onion soup and there burgers are great oh and there fried cookie dough is amazing I highly recommend this placeKid-friendliness: Great kids menu“
“This is the first place my girlfriend and I ate at after arriving to our destination from Kansas. Getting into the location was somewhat difficult due to parking restraints, but once we found a parking spot, everything became more comfortable. When walking inside of the establishment, it was relatively quiet. The individual up front greeted us and informed us that there was a menu on the counter which we appreciated. There is a large menu to order from, but we decided to order the Chopped Cheese and Fries. The Chopped Cheese was good. The beef is fresh, juicy, and tender. When combined with the rest of the ingredients it makes a great combination. The fries were salted well and had a slight crunch with each bite. I became full off of one half of the Chopped Cheese. I do not normally become full from eating out, but this was one of the rare occasions where I did and I am thankful for it. Overall, I enjoyed eating here. I became full from the food I ordered, the individual up front was nice and respectful, and I left feeling satisfied. I definitely recommend coming to this location and trying their food options.“
“One of the best Lamb burger I ever had in my life. Cooked medium to perfection.Fried oysters are also fresh and delicious.I wish I lived in Norwalk just because of this restaurant. Definitely going there next time I visit Norwalk and try their other dishes.“
“Excellent neighborhood restaurant combining the best of B.J. Ryan's & B.J. Ryan's BANC House with the former Partners Cafe. Their wait staff is excellent and will make you feel right at home and part of the family in no time. The pizza is recommended but they have other great items on the menu as well (French Onion soup is great if you want something light to tide you over, though I also love their pub burger). It will become your favorite East Norwalk spot in no time.Parking: They have a few spots outside around the restaurant but there is ample parking on the street as well (which is free).“
“Pizza style is very different and not your traditional Italian style with thin crust and abundant tomato sauce. This one has a thicker crust as if it was baked in a pan. A lot of cheese (almost too much) and lacks sauce. It tasted good but was just different. Most likely wouldn't order again this kind of pizza.“
“This was an excellent burger! I'm a low carb guy so I got the lettuce wrap which was constructed perfectly. Was able to eat it like a "real" burger with very little break apart. Whenever I'm in the area, I'll be sure to stop by.“
“Really enjoyed your restaurant, probably the best clam chowder I have every eaten and I'm a snob when it comes to food.Shout out to Stephany who helped me with getting a receipt I needed. She was not only helpful but very pleasant and a wonderful greeter for your customers.Parking: Depends on the day and time you come. It's in a plaza which is pretty busy.“
“Our family is traveling to all the states and Connecticut is #50 for me so we needed a quick bite to eat and came here. The staff was amazingly friendly and so kind to make sure we had what we needed. I absolutely loved my spicy chicken salad and my son LOVED the chicken winds. Go here...you won't be disappointed!“
“I ordered delivery, and haven't had the full dining in experience yet, so this review is strictly around the pizza.Although New Haven Apizza will always be my number one, I'm a big fan of Detroit style pizza. They're completely different beasts so I won't even try to compare them.Detroit style, for those who haven't had it, is cooked in a type of sheet pan, with crispy cheese that burns (in a good way) along the edges of the crust where it meets the pan. The sauce is typically in bands across the top of the cheese in a traditional Detroit pie.For my first time, I tried a classic Detroit style pie with pepperoni. The little pepperonis that curl into cups are a critical component of this style of pizza, and Emmy's passed the test there! The pizza was very good, and definitely Detroit style. The crust although thick (which is normal for this style) was nice and light and similar to focaccia as it should be.The sauce was excellent, no complaints there!I do have two minor quibbles that IMO are keeping this pizza from Detroit greatness:There is not enough of the crispy cheese on the outer crust. The edges should be darker with a lot more cheese in the equation. This is easily remedied, so I'm begging you to nail the best part of Detroit pizza! The bottom of the crust is also a bit blonde for this style of pizza. I'm not sure if it's the pans used, the oven temperature, or the cook time, but again IMO, authentic Detroit style should have more color on the bottom. For those of you familiar with Lions, Tigers, and Squares in NYC, I would put Emmy's a bit below them due to the two differences highlighted above.Anyways, it's great to have Detroit style pizza in the area! The pies IMO fall just short of greatness, but could easily get there with a few tweaks.I'm looking forward to checking it out in person when time permits.“
“Had a treat of a lunch here. Food was warm and fresh. I don’t do this much but I want to give a big shout out to my server Kelsey or should I say little moon. She had such a big and great smile I called her little moon and she must have blushed and laughed. My chow was a little late and she brought me a free refill on ginger ale, the little things can go a long way. Very kind and prompt person and made us feel comfortable and happy to be around her. Oh and she brought out the food so fast my fries had a crisp that was perfect. Thanks Kels or should I say little moon :)“
“Ok, so, I feel like I have the pedigree to review a diner. Growing up on Long Island with many late nights diner meals and even parked cars at one. I can say that this diner is extremely solid! First, cleanliness creates "ambiance" in a diner. It's roomy, not cramped and cluttered, which is nice. Plenty of helpful staff. The food has an above diner quality at least in the patty melt, fries with gravy (the gold standard test of a diner IMHO). The PM cooked perfectly, good quality and delish! They serve theirs with bacon, if you it like that way, but, I go for OG patty melt. My dining mate (nameless to protect the innocent) had not one, but, two Belgian waffles. Excellent. I think this place is great and next time I will explore the menu a bit. They even have mixed drinks, beer and wine, btw. Go and enjoy! Oh, I have to try the milkshake too!“
“It's been a month but I still think about how much I enjoyed the atmosphere, welcoming people, and great meatloaf grilled cheese my husband and I split. They brought it to us already on two plates!Parking: Parking on site but was very full when we arrived at peak time.“
“The fries are outstanding, the ice cream tastes old and I’m not sure the food was thoroughly cooked. A nice atmosphere to say nonetheless, could use better customer service, but a nice establishment overall!Update: the clams and the chicken tenders appeared to be undercooked. And the ice cream machine was on August 31st!“
“I love to eat but can be a very picky eater. Once I find a restaurant that I enjoy , I tend to go there consistently. Anytime I go to Wayback the food is delicious! They cook it correctly every time and the staff are so friendly clean & welcoming !They are Very professional and timely responsive. I have no complaints ! “ see you on the way back” !! :)Vegetarian options: Impossible melt is a vegan option“
“Had a Saturday lunch with friends and 18 month old twins-staff couldn't have been more understanding and accommodating. Had the turkey Chili- delicious! And went with the server's recommendation of beer (facehugger IPA), which went perfectly. Would definitely eat here again.“
“I needed to get into the ? bathroom it was closed, I don't know if it was occupied or it was closed for maintenance or I don't know, but I needed to get in and I couldn't!It's the second time it's happened to me there... At least I enjoyed my food order....friendly staff!“
“Absolutely a traditional Irish bar and they keep it that way by not trying to be anything else. The food is excellent the bartenders are excellent and the owners are great people. Great job guys love it. I only wish that other places would have true bartenders that pay attention period take a lesson from these guys they've got it down pat“
“I enjoy coming to this location because employees are friendly, food is fresh for being fast food restaurants. I only have 15 min lunch break, and I don’t have to wait a long timeKid-friendliness: A lot of kids go there, never heard or seen a problemWheelchair accessibility: There is no stairs so it’s easy for people with wheelchairs, plenty of room and tables that can be prioritized.“
“This is my favorite easy/quick lunch spot. I’ve only ordered online but every time it arrives super fast, packaged nice and is overall good deli food. They are respectful of my notes when I need to order something without bread, and package it nicely “platter style”.Dietary restrictions: They always read the delivery notes (no bread etc)“
“LOVED THE FOOD!! I got a salad here that was very yummy and all the other food was a hit too! Love coming here because the environment is really refreshing. The people working here are always nice and the manager seemed very friendly and down to earth. 10/10“
