MOMU Ice Cream is a very cute and beautiful ice cream shop with a modern-looking interior. It is located in Westport with a wonderful outdoor patio area facing the Saugatuck River, complete with a cute sitting area and fire pits. The shop offers a phenomenal, delicious, and fresh selection of very creamy ice cream, sorbet, and unique seasonal flavors, all made on site with natural ingredients. Notable flavors include chocolate mint, apple pie, Cookie Monster, brownie batter, cookies and cream, and the surprisingly good Kneads bread ice cream which tastes like french toast. They also offer a flavor called mud, a coffee base with fudge and homemade "oreos." The ingredients come from local farmers. They have a great variety, including gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free options. All waffle cones and toppings are homemade in-house. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and informative, making the experience great. Mini baked Alaskas filled with chocolate, vanilla, and grape sorbet are also available. It is definitely worth a visit.
