I used to come here all the time. The owner is very friendly. The place is always packed. We decided to stop by for brunch on Saturday. Unfortunately, we were greeted by what seemed to be a very unhappy staff. He didn’t smile, brought us to a booth then tossed our menus on the table. He proceeded to asked us what we’d like to drink then thrusted the drinks on the table then walked away. Our server was pleasant, but seemed rushed to get our order and never filled up my water....
My mom & I were just out of staters passing through originally I was trying to find a place that has fried whole belly clams but the time we had our traumatic experience in NY on 7-16-24, we just wanted to go to a diner and get back on the road to head home. We walked in and immediately greeted by their host with a smile, I don't remember his name but he was friendly and so welcoming, host with the most that even brought my mom a bowl of soup! It wasn't a loud place,...
I had eggs, bacon, a waffle with blueberries, coffee,and freshly squeezed orange juice. The coffee was delicious. The waffle and blueberries were excellent. The eggs were perfectly cooked in butter, and the bacon -nice and well done. My best breakfast of the month!
