“I had gone here several years ago and was very disappointed. A friend convinced me to give them another try, so I did! My breakfast sandwich was delicious. I also picked up a chicken salad sandwich for lunch that tasted very fresh. I'm happy to add them to my food choices in town.“

“We went to Wethersfield location for my Grandson's Birthday. I loved the sauce. Although they stated it had minimal cheese, I would have liked just a little bit more. I would definitely go back and recommend it. I like the way it was served and the way it was sliced. I liked the big, clean open space.“

“Classic French brasserie in terms of food, atmosphere and service. Excellent hearty food at a decent price point in comparison to restaurants in the vicinity. Service is in line of a French brasserie- courteous, but not over the top. Do not expect the classic Americanism of waiters constantly asking how the food is, or trying to make small talk. The wait staff will make sure you have all your needs met at a timely fashion, while being conscious of timing of different courses.“

“I used to love coming here pre pandemic! I brought my friend with me from out of town and we were having a GREAT night with the bartender Dustin (who literally was excellent), and at the end of the night it was just my friend, the owner, and I. The conversation was calm and civil and fun and suddenly out of NOWHERE the owner proceeded to verbally assault us, calling us expletives and making us feel unsafe and unwelcome. We decided it was no longer for us and stepped outside, at which point he FOLLOWED US OUTSIDE and alternated between apologizing and cursing at us and begging us to come back inside until we left. I’m glad we didn’t go back inside as his behavior was erratic and potentially dangerous, considering we were two women and he is a much larger man. We were afraid and felt safer walking home (in Hartford that says something) rather than staying put. I’m bummed because I used to like this place, but it’s come to my attention we are certainly not the only women with this experience. Please be careful y’all.“

“I attended a baby shower there and it was delicious and the the staff and the manager couldn't have been nicer . The garlic cheese bread was delicious and the sweet potato ravioli was second to none. The whole meal was 5 star worthy. Can't wait to go back !“

“Menu was tough for some of our guests. The beet appetizer was good but I wish it had been served as a warm appetizer. Entrees took a long while to come out and some of our meals were cold or lukewarm. Liked that we could see the happenings on the street. Somewhat cold decor.“

“I made a reservation here on a Saturday for a date night with my wife and we had a great time. The atmosphere was cool. The service and food were all very good. (We had Cuban Sliders, Calamari and loaded plantain nachos). It was nice to have a unique restaurant experience for a change. It’s the type of place that everyone in the area should do at least once.“

“Cannot say enough good things about The Hollow. Whether you are a golfer or not the restaurant should be added to your regular rotation. The food is top notch, everything on the menu is fantastic. My favorites are the loaded potato chips and the Brit burger. The staff is friendly, the drinks are perfect and everything is reasonably priced (especially here in 2022). Did i mention the view from the patio is beautiful? This restaurant is a must taste!“

“EXCELLENT SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND! Kudos to our server on Sunday, 6/22 and Carlos in the kitchen!! (Sorry I forgot our servers name but she was a tall blonde) I brought my friend’s son who has special needs there because he said it was “national onion ring day” and he wanted onion rings. Our server was so sweet because they don’t have onion rings on the menu, but she went in the kitchen to ask if there was any way my friend could have onion rings. A few minutes later, Carlos came out with a plate of onion rings for my friend who celebrated and said they were so delicious! What exceptional staff both our server and Carlos were to make my special friend’s day! THANK YOU! Highly recommend Hop Haus in Berlin!“

“1st timer, eating here.On a Sat. nite, I placed a ph take out order for, a Beef Bento Box with a side order Harumaki rolls.I parked in the back (30 min pickups r free).My order was ready as promised n the Box was prepared n the presentation was superb.My first ever Bento Box. It has been decades since my last Japanese dinner (Charlotte NC NYE)It definitely won't be my last.Thx.“

“My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here on a recent Thursday evening. We were greeted warmly, seated quickly, and served very well by the team at No Mames. Our drinks, appetizers, tacos, and desserts were all outstanding. We will return with friends!“
