“We were so pleased to visit Vito's after a few years' absence. We used to dine there almost every Friday when we lived in the area. Carol Ann welcomed us like old times. Jonathan did a great job of recreating my favorite basil martini that Linda perfected years ago. Our meal, punctuated by treats from the family farm, was excellent. Our service by Abby was terrific. The zucchini flowers appetizer impeccably balanced the tender flowers and tasty cheese. My husband's roasted cod and summer vegetables were great as was my Veal Milanese. The Pecorino wine was dry but refreshing. House-made ricotta pie was just right - subtle cheese flavor and not too sweet. We need to come back soon!“

“I haven't been there for probably twenty years. My ex wife's grandmother would take us there. I decided to bring my almost adult children there. A very old school restaurant. You get the choice of soup af the day or salad. I was a little apprehensive ordering the chicken marsala. Many times I have let down eating it without the marsala flavor. I know how to cook. The wine has to be reduced by 3/4 to get the taste. I asked the waiter if they did indeed reduce it. He told me yes. I wasn't disappointed with my selection. My son ordered a New York strip. Me was satisfied. I was happy to see his hony mustard was only used for his fries. My daughter ordered something Italian. Not sure what it was, but it was like 3 servings. A restaurant that has been in business for many years. This tells me that they are doing something right, as with our dinner.“

I can't say enough positives about the owners, cooks and staff. Truly a wethersfield staple. Great food, kind people. Fratelli's is a must try!!“

“We went to Wethersfield location for my Grandson's Birthday. I loved the sauce. Although they stated it had minimal cheese, I would have liked just a little bit more. I would definitely go back and recommend it. I like the way it was served and the way it was sliced. I liked the big, clean open space.“
