“So this is definitely a small town local watering hole buuuuuuuut… the minute you walk in, whether you’ve been a regular for 20 years or it’s your first visit to the eagle you will feel welcomed by staff and patrons alike. The staff is top notch (and honestly a great steal for the locals to enjoy in the cocktail mastery of this place)! They create their own drinks like master mixologists, and the good ole regular drinks are stiff and reasonably priced. There’s always a friend to be made and a good time to be had!!! 5+ stars!!!!“

“My daughter and I stopped here on our way back from a UConn tour - I’m vegetarian and the Mediterranean pasta was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had - highly recommend!!! My daughter ordered chicken and a side of fries, the fry order was huge for $5! I helped her eat the fries and we both couldn’t put a dent in it! Friendly staff, beautiful sunset view - if we are ever back in the area we will definitely stop back in!“

“Discovered this business and their product at the Renaissance Fair in Lebanon, CT. Did some Christmas shopping there for my kids and they all love the Mead! So many great flavor options there is something for all tastes. Their location is only 20 minutes from where I leave and I’ve already been there a couple times to re-stock. I’m quite sure more trips to the Meadery are in my future. Friendly service and a great product!“

“Let me start by saying we live in Coventry and Kathmandu has delivered hot delicious food to our home time and time again! This evening my wife and I decided to dine in and the experience was better than expected! We had Samosas, Thai noodles, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Naan. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner/chef came out to our table to ask how everything was. What I told him is what I'm telling all of you. This is the best Indian food I've had to date! I have a strong culinary background and highly recommend you put this place on a short list of great food destinations! In the past we've had curry lamb, tomato soup, tom yam soup, lolipop chicken, fried rice, and aloo paratha. Make your way through the whole menu, you won't be disappointed!“

“Loved it! Ya gotta go! The food was great. We had hotdogs with tater tots and meatball grinder with French fries. Very fresh, hot and tasty. No greasy bar-food here! Reasonably priced. Place was clean, clean and tables spaced per CDC guidelines for social distancing. Lots of choices for beer on tap!“

“I ordered a cheese steak and a six pack. I am new to the area, having just bought land and I am very pleased with this place. They took a bit long, over an hour, to deliver but I am satisfied. They included a bag of chips, and a pickle! I'm not even a fan of pickles but this was crunchy and tasty! The cheese steak was excellent! Also it was still hot by the time it got to me! I asked for the cheapest six pack and they brought me Narragansett light. I have never heard of this beer but it is refreshing and enjoyable! I am only giving your stats because it took a bit longer than expected but seeing as I only ordered a sandwich I can understand if they saved my delivery for last. In the end I got a hot delicious sandwich and cold delicious beer. I will add them to my phone book right away!“

“I can not speak for their other locations, but the Storrs location is great! All the staff, from the bartenders (shout to Zeke and Ethan!) to the servers to the kitchen chefs, are all great people that bring amazing energy. The food, in my humble opinion, is delicious. And the gelato is some of the best I've ever had (I grew up 30 minutes from Philly, so I know good gelato when I taste it). I won't say the "bad" reviews have no merit, but my personal experience, after coming here for a little over a year, had been nothing if not great. If you're in the area as a student, visiting family, etc., do yourself a favor and check it out. Square Peg Storrs is one of THE BEST spots for food, drinks, and fun in the area.“
