“If you haven’t been here GOO!!! Such a fun time for everyone… ages 10+ AND also just found out they have an Axe League on Thusday nights!! Met the owner, which the restaurant inside is named after. (Gaetano) The pizza looked AMAZING! 🍕 I however didn’t get any but had a piece of pepperoni, and it’s deff not the cheap crappy stuff! They are working on perfecting their wings! 😋 Learned some history about how, and why he started the Axe Throwing business….and how he recommends Jimmy's Pub Enfield ( Where I happen to work)to all his customers. 😊 love how he also supports small local businesses as well! He seems like a very nice, humble guy. “ I created round tables so everyone could sit and face each other. Also I don’t want people staring at a television. I like seeing them together and spending time doing things with each other” So much fun!! Especially on Black Light Fridays. Axe Man Dave has been the bestttt!!! Everyone we go! “This place is unique. Started in 1911 frequently by police and fire department personnel. Has an incredible history. Stories you can almost not believe but they’re true. The wonderful hostess behind the bar told us lots of things about the place. The burgers were excellent. The only strange thing is it’s cash only but they did have atm.

The atmosphere was warm and cozy, elegant but extremely comfortable and inviting. The staff friendly and helpful as can be. And omg the food, mmmmmmmmazing. Everything looked amazing, I will tell you I specifically had risotto balls, torched wedge salad, ricotta gnocchi with braisedbeef short rib ragu, and chocolate mousse. I can't look at regular salad the same way ever again and everything else was just amazing on it's own, and as a whole evening experience. Please do yourself a favor and set aside some time to have a meal here.“

“First, food is amazing. We didnt order any alcohol but menu items are very tasty and satisfying bar food. Much better than you would guess for bar food. We had nachos with the short rib and didnt want to leave any behind.

We went at a very busy time and you could feel it in the service. Our table was packed between two larger parties on the patio with no offers to put up the umbrella and the shine shining in one of our eyes. Food took a long time which we expected with how busy it was but once they brought the app out, there wasnt much time before the meals followed leaving little time to enjoy that. Offers for drink refills were slow and you could feel the business with how often the server came around. Servers were very friendly and kind, just wondering if a bit understaffed and food timing could have been improved.

“Nathan Bill’s is a great spot, and I’m reserving that fifth star for a truly mind‑blowing experience — but this place comes close. The food was good, the atmosphere was even better, and the outdoor seating was the highlight for me. Fewer voices echoing around made the whole meal feel calmer and more enjoyable.

We did try to order avocado for the loaded nachos, and the waiter let us know it wasn’t available. A small disappointment, but everything else we ordered more than made up for it. The appetizers were fantastic — plentiful, fresh, and flavorful. We nearly wiped out the entire tray. The nachos, the wings, and the beer were all on point. Fresh, cold, and exactly what you want when you’re out with good company.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe of the place is exactly what a neighborhood spot should be.

I’ll be back, and I absolutely recommend it. In fact, this is most likely going to be my retirement party location. It’s local, it’s close to MassMutual, and it’s the kind of place where people have no excuse not to show up. I’ve been to a few retirement parties around town, and Nathan Bill’s is a goldmine for that kind of celebration.“

“Had my husbands surprise birthday/World Cup watch party this past weekend. It was a great experience for us all. Had about 25 people. Tom Murphy the owner was great to work with. He gave us our own section of the room which was recently renovated and was bright, clean and had a beautiful large bar. The staff were all friendly, professional and attentive. I ordered several orders of the appetizers on the menu and they even made vegetarian black bean burger sliders not found on the menu. Food was delicious. We were all very happy with the day. Thank you and everyone on the team. I'd recommend it to anyone.“

“What a pleasant surprise for us. Hotels traditionally for me have never been impressive.
The food both times we have been here had been wonderful.
Hubby loves the shrimp corn chowder. We both have had the turkey club, which we found to be fresh, and perfectly made.
Today, hubby got the fish and chips. (He is normally a little on the pucky side.)
He said it was the best fish and chips he'd ever gotten.
The fish was battered nicely and crisp. And, the fries were homemade and terrific.
Sandra, the server/bar tender, I don't know how she maintains the entire floor by herself, but she does. And, she is prompt and anticipates your needs.
I've been a server for many years over the course of my life and I don't believe that I could do as good of a job.
Did I mention the servings were very generous?
We've taken (about) half back home each time.“

“I’ve driven by this place for years and never realized it was here. Stopped in after a long day of work, absolutely starving. The staff were all super friendly—Casey, in particular, was incredibly kind to us, especially my daughter. The food was fantastic. The fish and chips really hit the spot, and both the Brussels sprouts and wings were top-notch. The full bar looked great, too. I’ll definitely have to come back during some “adult time” to check it out properly. It’s always tough to find a well-made Old Fashioned—guess we’ll see!“

This venue had so much included in the package price and didn't nickel and dime us for things like champagne toasts (included in price), linens and table settings (included), and the option to borrow centerpieces.
