“Absolutely a great neighborhood bar. Bartender was awesome and the patrons we're very welcoming. If you're passing through or staying in the area, we highly recommend this bar for a warm friendly time. We'll be back next time we come this way.“
“Food was great and the pretzel is huge! Prices were reasonable too. Service was excellent the only downfall was they closed at 8:30pm on the night of the college football national championship. Was looking forward to ordering tons of food and drinks while enjoying the game but wasn't meant to be.“
“Good food in little old Enfield. Acapulco serves up the Tex-Mex cuisine that's evolved from Mexican, Texan, Californian, and other influences. Certainly not "authentic Mexican," the food is familiar and comforting. The food is much milder and less aggressively spiced than Tex-Mex closer to the Mexican States, that's probably quite pleasing to most customers in Enfield. The service is always helpful and pleasant. When we come into town and want some quality Tex-Mex comfort food, Acapulcos is at the top of our list, and they always make us very happy.“
“My daughter took me here a few times....I got the meatball sub. I am reediting my post here because I was very disappointed. I got the sub each time because the roll was the perfect size. Not too bready....and full size smaller meatballs that were whole that fit the sub perfectly. I went last night for the first time in a while and was so looking forward to it. I was very disappointed. They changed to roll.... too much bread and the meatballs were a little bigger but cut in half. Not happy whatsoever. I will not be coming back.“
“Wow, ten years since my last review. I'm happy to say that not much has changed. The area overall may not be what it once was, but Theodores has held strong. We showed up shortly after opening on a Saturday for an early dinner with some little ones in tow, and were lucky we didn't show up any later, as the line was out the door. Portions were still good, the brisket and burnt ends were delicious. The collard greens were good as well. Mac n cheese wasn't for us, but wasn't bad. The service was also great, even with them being pretty slammed. To double-down and quote younger me, "I'd likely frequent the place if I worked in Springfield".“
“Went here with a friend. Had some great German food, we tried a variety, and all of it was exceptional. Legit German beers, the kind you can only get from a real German place. Our wait staff was really personable and did an excellent job. Overall, it was a nice relaxing and chill night with great food.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“Food was fantastic, had the rice balls as an app (awesome), the chicken parm dinner (also awesome), then the cookie dough dessert (fantastic!). We had a large group and it ended up being about $90/person including tip drinks etc. definitely coming back again next time I'm in town.“
“The people in the staff here are so wonderful! They're very friendly and provide you with service right when you get in! The food is fantastic! I drove from Meriden to come over here to have their New York Strip!!!! So delicious and tender! Everyone should go and try it!“
“It doesn't look like much from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised how great the did and service was. The Shepards pie was outstanding. Others got the Reuben and a chicken sandwich and said they were great. The waitress was prompt and efficient. General atmosphere is a sports bar.“
“I ordered the Big Easy, which is supposed to be Sausage, Chicken, Cajun sauce, and red peppers over pasta. I love sausage and cajun flavor but the sausage was kielbasa slices, and no cajun flavoring at all. A bit of a letdown. Otherwise it's a nice place and we had a great server too !!“
“This our favorite Mexican restaurant. Even after moving to CT a couple of years ago, we still come to Frontera's Boston Rd location. We like that we see many of the same faces when we dine there. Last time, I had the Korean short rib tacos and they were fantastic. But the star of the dish for me was the side of black beans. Friendly knowledgeable staff, and great Patron marguerites.“
“What an amazing experience. Our server Abby went above and beyond. The apps were superb. The meals were creative and made to perfection. Specialty drinks and dessert were a highlight. Make sure to make a reservation because there are not a lot of seats. Couldn't recommend this place enough.“
“I haven't been to the Shamrock in thirty years...then I had my refurbished 58 Triumph Bike...wish I still had it....Finally retired after 51 years and time for a return visit....Intrigued by the thought of Hot Dogs and mature Folks...see ya soon Tommy K.“
“This was my first time here… I absolutely loved the burger… we had ordered hangover burger and it is one of best burger you can around this part of CT. I shared the burger, so they had cut in 2 and put it 2 different plates .. that was so good … usually I have requested to cut the burger in half.. many restaurants have denied it outrightly. Chicken wings are really good and worth every penny.. I was disappointed with the French onion soup though.. it was something I didn’t like at all.. order the tarter tots instead of fries.. looks they tots are popular there .. and fries aren’t great like burger..“
“This was a retirement party that was held at this fine place. Everything went well. The food was great, the drinks were great; when you consider the number of people that were there. When you consider the number of people that were there? The staff did an excellent job.“
“Great place for prime rib and fish and chips,Becky the owner is great very acommodating with our party planning the foodIs always a hit with our guest. The staff at the buccaneer are awsome too.Parking: Never had a problem with parkingWheelchair accessibility: Love the ramp for the handicap“
“Ok so I wasn't sure about this place but dang! The wings were ON point! Super crispy and flavorful - we got the teriyaki and lemon pepper dry rub. That Lemmon pepper was awesome with great flavor. Service was friendly and attentive. The inside is nice and looks recently Renovated. We found the prices to be very fair. He had a burger and I had a steak salad which was huge with a lot of tasty steak and huge chunks of blue cheese. We will return.“
“Made me miss Latin America sooo much. The Mofongo was very good. The Cubano was huge and with real pulled pork! Didn’t eat the empanadas but got the Pizza and beef just way too much food. Service was great too. Great place! I wish I could be here during a club night! Sancocho is on Saturdays only!! I’ll be coming by to pick one up for the ride home.“
“Went early on a Saturday (4:15 reservation) because it was for a birthday and we had dinner resevations later, the place is large but pretty empty. I assume that they pick up later in the evening because they place is cool and there's a lot to do besides throw axes. There are at least 6+ rows for cornhole, pool tables, seating around, and arcade games. Our host Grave was great, it's especially nice to have someone give you pointers and tips and keep track of the scoring and games (especially if you and you others are competitive). They have you pick funny name tags when you first get there which just adds to the experience. They have pizza there but we didn't order as we had plans later. The bar was small but their beer list was extensive, if you can't find anything there then that's on you. Lol The only thing I didn't love was at the bar there was no pricing that I could see and only the electronic menu above. Even though it was quiet in there and only 1 person before me in line it took almost 5 minutes to get my beer, not really a complaint but when people are waiting on you to get back to throw.. well you know. Guess I woukd say buy your drinks ahead! But a beer and a Gatorade was about $14 bucks so I'd say average.Throwing was fun and the competition really gets brought out! We were both laughing and sweating as it's a workout for sure! Great time so glad we ventured out and tried something new. Would love to go back and would definitely recommend!“
