“I truly enjoyed our dinner, conversation, and the atmosphere. On an evening out to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends and we had the most wonderful meal. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, elegant but extremely comfortable and inviting. The staff friendly and helpful as can be. And omg the food, mmmmmmmmazing. Everything looked amazing, I will tell you I specifically had risotto balls, torched wedge salad, ricotta gnocchi with braisedbeef short rib ragu, and chocolate mousse. I can't look at regular salad the same way ever again and everything else was just amazing on it's own, and as a whole evening experience. Please do yourself a favor and set aside some time to have a meal here.“

“If you haven’t been here GOO!!! Such a fun time for everyone… ages 10+ AND also just found out they have an Axe League on Thusday nights!! Met the owner, which the restaurant inside is named after. (Gaetano) The pizza looked AMAZING! 🍕 I however didn’t get any but had a piece of pepperoni, and it’s deff not the cheap crappy stuff! They are working on perfecting their wings! 😋 Learned some history about how, and why he started the Axe Throwing business….and how he recommends Jimmy's Pub Enfield ( Where I happen to work)to all his customers. 😊 love how he also supports small local businesses as well! He seems like a very nice, humble guy. “ I created round tables so everyone could sit and face each other. Also I don’t want people staring at a television. Mike is always pleasant and accommodating. Good family fun at a reasonable price. “This place is unique. Started in 1911 frequently by police and fire department personnel. Has an incredible history. Stories you can almost not believe but they’re true. The wonderful hostess behind the bar told us lots of things about the place. The burgers were excellent. The only strange thing is it’s cash only but they did have atm.

“Good! Sliders were cooked perfectly and bigger than we were expecting. A pleasant surprise. Kids Mac and cheese is HUGE, and it's actually real cheese sauce, not Kraft. The Jimmy Buffett playlist is very Southwick though we wouldn't have minded listening to something else. Overall very good experience.“

“Had my husbands surprise birthday/World Cup watch party this past weekend. It was a great experience for us all. Had about 25 people. Tom Murphy the owner was great to work with. He gave us our own section of the room which was recently renovated and was bright, clean and had a beautiful large bar. The staff were all friendly, professional and attentive. I ordered several orders of the appetizers on the menu and they even made vegetarian black bean burger sliders not found on the menu. Food was delicious. We were all very happy with the day. Thank you and everyone on the team. I'd recommend it to anyone.“

“What a pleasant surprise for us. Hotels traditionally for me have never been impressive.
The food both times we have been here had been wonderful.
Hubby loves the shrimp corn chowder. We both have had the turkey club, which we found to be fresh, and perfectly made.
Today, hubby got the fish and chips. (He is normally a little on the pucky side.)
He said it was the best fish and chips he'd ever gotten.
The fish was battered nicely and crisp. And, the fries were homemade and terrific.
Sandra, the server/bar tender, I don't know how she maintains the entire floor by herself, but she does. And, she is prompt and anticipates your needs.
I've been a server for many years over the course of my life and I don't believe that I could do as good of a job.
Did I mention the servings were very generous?
We've taken (about) half back home each time.“

“We have zero interest in sports bars. The location, between a fitness club and a used car lot, and on the site of a failed auto dealer. is not that appealing. Still, we are happy to come here from time to time for a reliably good sandwich, salad. and/or simple entree. At the outer stretch of a strip mall road littered with typical fast food joints and chain family restaurants of appalling mediocrity. it is worth supporting a dining establishment that sets a reasonably high standard and is locally owned and operated. The service is friendly, casual and sometimes a bit haphazard with staffing shortages post pandemic. The clientele isn't just those who want to watch, beer in hand, an/or several athletic contest(s) on television. Young families, oldsters like us, and those who appreciate Monica's house made desserts, fill tables beyond the bar seats. You don't feel out of place with a non-alcoholic beverage. The chef-owner can cook more interesting cuisine but is giving the locals, apparently, what sells. Ample parking, and recently the unpaved sector has been reclaimed.“

“I wasn't going to complain but I'm still mad. I asked for extra lime in my cocktail. I received half a see through slice of lime. I didn't read my bill til I got home they charged me $2.00 for the lime!! You can buy a whole lime in the store for fifty cents! They should have told me about the extra charge for next to nothing.“

Michele was our main contact and I'm quite certain she could manage a wedding reception in her sleep! The value and location were two of the main reasons we chose Storrowton Carriage House for our ceremony and reception. This venue had so much included in the package price and didn't nickel and dime us for things like champagne toasts (included in price), linens and table settings (included), and the option to borrow centerpieces. The food was EXCEPTIONAL! We had so many guests share this sentiment with us the day of and immediately after. We wholeheartedly recommend Storrowton Tavern & Carriage House!“
