Everything went as expected, if not even better…My grinder was good and was made just how I wanted it!Besides the grinder, they have prepared foods that are hot and ready to go. “We just had lunch at Elvira's today. The sandwiches were DELICIOUS. I had the hot dog with sauerkraut and onions, my sister had the portabella mushrooms and mozzarella sandwich, my husband had BLT and my brother-in-law had tuna salad. Crunchy onion rings and Joey's famous fries were super good. Everything was delicious. It was easy to order on line and our "server" Sam treated us like family. Great service, easy to order, the food was yummy and we ate it by the beach. What could be better?“

“This is a great place to eat. It was slow so I sat by the window hoping business would pick and it did. A middle-aged couple came in with a puzzled look on their face, as though they were desperate for something to do.
The menu is large and in charge but I judge each deli by one dish and one dish alone, the chicken parm wedge. Is the bread fresh, is the chicken crispy, is the sauce homemade etc.? Sometimes a spot is constrained by its ability to both deliver and keep the price down; Summer Street Deli somehow figured this out. I ordered a Pedro Special and a Chicken Parm Wedge and spent $25 with tip. Not bad. The chicken parm was crispy, the sauce was sweet and the motz was tangy. The chili was also delicious with a touch of spice but not to little which infuriates me. I like a hot chili. Like a diet Merrit Canteen chili flavor, very good though.

But over all I like this little spot with lots of dining space that is roomy but maintains a classic feel without all this pretentious so called atmosphere that doesn’t require it’s presence in a neighborhood spot such as this. Definitely worth a look but don’t take your date here unless your married, it’s not that kind of place bro ;).“

“I have always driven up Hope Street and gone past this deli. Well, this week I finally stopped in. I ordered a chicken cutlet (My go-to deli sandwich) on a wedge with cheese, tomatoes and ketchup and mayo. First things first: they made a QUALITY QUALITY sandwich. The cutlet has a nice crisp to it, and was not dry but juicy. The breading was not overwhelming but just right. The cheese, bacon , tomato all meshed well. Nothing was too loose or too messy. Second the customer service was great. A great atmosphere to walk into. Its always nice when you are greeted by a smile, conversation and to see that person behind the counter is actually enjoying themselves.I went back again to try out their meatball parm. On. The. Money. The meatballs are fresh and REAL. I am simple so I did not doctor this particular sandwich up much, but it was good for me and can be for you too.I recommend Ron's Deli if you want a great sandwich, great service, great prices. “I love this place it’s awesome. It’s not that expensive and it has a lot of options. Chicken tender and fries never fail.

Parking: Only thing is, it’s kind of hidden in a building. You have to take a right as soon as you walk in. So no parking , street parking if you find some. I like to walk there instead.“

“Chris is da man and hooks up some bomb sandwiches. This is a main north Stamford stop along since I had some issues at LaRoccos on long ridge. The staff is polite but when some leaves the door open it can get to hot or cold so of course they need to say something we were not raised in a barn door. In terms of price I’m not sure why people are complaining, everywhere is dealing with inflation. Prices will never be what they were 5 years ago.
