“Great experience from start to finish! Four of us had the 5 course prix fix tasting menu with wine pairings, and everything was delicious. Portions were generous without making us overstuffed, or wanting more. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant! Server PJ was the best, and made the experience outdoors even more fun!Update: We have since gone back to Present Company several times, and it never disappoints. We recently dined at the chef’s counter (had a great time with Matt!) and enjoyed the 4 course prix fixe, and some of the standouts were the duck confit, cappelletti, sourdough späetzel that was surprisingly spicy and delicious, the striped bass and the espresso martini. I had a delicious cocktail similar to a Paloma, but much more interesting and complex in flavor. The service is always top notch even when the place is busy. We look forward to our next visit!“
“Needed something for dinner after a long day and decided to stop in after work. Others in my family have had the food here and enjoyed it. I had the turkey burger and it was delicious! I haven’t eaten an entire burger in one sitting in forever but I did today. Fries were nicely cooked as well. I’ll be back to try other menu items.“
“Place was very busy, but we were greeted and seated quickly. Our server, Paige, was very friendly and attentive even though she also had a party of twelve that she was handling (among other things!). We decided to sample soups and appetizers as our meal, so we started with French Onion soup and turkey vegetable soup. The turkey vegetable was just delicious and the French onion was average. Our appetizers were an absolute delight! We had seafood stuffed mushrooms, grilled sea scallops with honey apple maple glaze, shrimp tempura with coconut lime drizzle, and butternut ravioli in a nutmeg cream sauce. What a delight for the tastebuds! Everything was perfectly cooked and presented. We decided to try the chocolate torte for dessert and were not disappointed! It was warm and gooey and so good! What a great evening!“
“We were definitely under dressed but stopped here on a whim and it was a good experience. We will definitely be back. My son had a dairy and soy allergy and I don’t eat dairy and they were beyond amazing with allergies. They can really accommodate anyone with an allergy! We will for sure be back. It was also very big portions and reasonably priced. Kids meal is only $8!Dietary restrictions: They are great with any allergy precautions!“

What a find this was years ago and glad to call it a staple in our eats tour.I personally love the look of the environment and the variety of rooms to be seated in.The food is always delicious, well paced for courses and never disappointing.Fried Brussel sprouts is a must and working from one end of the menu to the other is an adventure.“
“Went to Sunday brunch Jan 21st. I placed a review in Yelp; therefore; this will be brief. I thought the food and temperature of the food was excellent. Lots of varieties; meats; veggies; pasta; salads; fruit; sides and desserts. Mimosas; champagne and Bloody Mary's were great. Plenty of parking and fast seating. The hostess allowed us to choose any available table. Our Waiter (Junior) was attentive; fast; accurate; professional and funny?. I noticed the Wait staff and Hostess were dressed in uniformity; wearing white shirts and black slacks. HOWEVER; I could not believe my eyes ? when I saw the 2 guys at the carving and omelette station. They were wearing "street" clothes (sweats) and beanies on their heads. They were not dressed in uniforms; or at least wearing aprons and matching caps or a hair net. Thank God they had on gloves. Totally; totally unprofessional and unsanitary. Everything was good up until seeing that; very disappointing.“
“What an amazing experience. Our server Abby went above and beyond. The apps were superb. The meals were creative and made to perfection. Specialty drinks and dessert were a highlight. Make sure to make a reservation because there are not a lot of seats. Couldn't recommend this place enough.“

My food had so much flavor that I had to go back a second time. Both time my plate was filled to the edge. I definitely recommend and be prepared to eat.“

Food - they have a large selection of food … which is great option specially if your coming in large group .. it caters to all… love their wide range of appetizers and salad or healthy food range… pizoochi .. shouldn’t miss that… vegetarian option is also not bad at all… their is plenty veg options or options with no meat..Coming to service .. evening in weekends get usually crowded and I had to wait once for 20 mins.. and other time I was told a 45 mins wait.. so I went some place else.. though they have great seating arrangements…. Takes some time for the sandwiches to be made but that's the nature of the beast for preparing fresh food.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, but it's a deli line so not much for a kid to do.Wheelchair accessibility: I do not feel that they had an accessible entrance.“
“This place exceeded my expectations. The ambiance was quite friendly and relaxing. The fries with the dipping sauces were to die for. The IPA's were very solid and I heard the strawberry lemonade was top notch. My only complaint would be to have a milkshake IPA on the beer list but beggars can't be choosers. “I like this place. We've been a few times over the years and it's always a solid choice. Food is really good and the ambiance is lively but not overwhelming. Bar area is great, but if you want some privacy or a corner to tuck away into, they have that as well. My Albacore Tuna Melt was really good, not overly mayo'd and the buttered and griddled wheat bread was fantastic. Fries were also very good. Great cocktail selection as well as a pretty solid beer list. Great place for a date night but also fun for groups.“
“I had just spent a full day traveling with a layover in O'Hare, and I finally got home around 5:30pm. I hadn't had a lot of time to stop and eat anything apart from whatever snacks were served on the plane. My mom had picked me up, & upon hearing that I was hungry, she brought me straight downstairs to Cask & Barrel. Neither one of us had been there, but she thought it looked nice. The server, Alisha, was happy to accommodate my gluten sensitivity by making me a wrappless wrap. Everything was served in a timely manner, and Alisha checked on us to make sure everything was good- and it very much was! All told, we paid about $36 including tip, for 2 turkey wraps & a HUGE basket of chili cheese fries, half of which we had to take to go.Alisha was very nice, and the service & food was fantastic for a great price. Made the trip home even better, and much easier.“
