“Had dinner at Gather 55 last night and it was the most pleasant dining experience and best food I’ve had in months! Crystal’s service was excellent! She is a master at her craft! Not only was the experience worth every penny, the mission and purpose of Gather 55 is wonderful! I wish we had one in TN!“

“Had the best time and food! Our first time here and we sat at the bar. Drink special Simple Plan was tasty with a spicy finish so just right! We loved Tuna Tartare. Best tartare ever and we are not kidding. Poached Shrimp Tostada was good too. Spicy Caesar Salad delish to the last bite. We finished with Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée which was well balanced sweet and flavor tasty. We talked with others at the bar about their dishes and those got good reviews too. So we are looking forward to coming back.“

“It was a culinary delight. I had the crispy duck leg. It was so tender on the inside. It was plated on passion fruit juice and seeds, and garnished with crispy rind of orange. It was such a joy to eat.“

“Since a lot of these reviews appear to be old, clarifying 2 things: there are two locations (norfolk & hartford) run by Good Works Entertainment. The Hartford location used to have a bistro but does not any longer - they have chips and candy. The highly regarded Bears smoke house is across the street as is the convention center and hotel (that ay have a special rate if you ask). hartford location has nearby street and paid parking unaffiliated with the venue. Both feature a range of arttists so check one or both out with friends and family.“

“Walking by The Lab on our way to Leaps and Bones, I always look at the creative menu posted in the window of The Lab. Today my pup got some treats and I took home a sandwich that was spectacular! I’m sure my pup and I will both get treats every time we go to Factory Square in the future!“

“What a nice place! Hidden gem. I drive by this restaurant almost on a weekly based and finally had a chance to have a nice dinner with my girlfriends yesterday. Food is amazing, drinks were fantastic and our waitress was super nice. I highly recommend this place. The restaurant is about 8 years old but building itself was established in 1757. It’s like dining at the museum. Loved it!“

“We had my daughter’s baby shower at Lola’s. From the start of booking until the day of the shower. So easy to work with. The day of the shower, we were greeted with such warmth and truly our waitress for our party, Becky, was fantastic. Catered to our every need and was so beyond helpful. She worked very hard and was so pleasant! The food was amazing and plenty of it! Guests went back for seconds! Becky even went above and beyond for my mom who couldn’t eat something and prepared a new one just for her. Truly a gem of a place! “I hosted my daughter’s baby shower brunch last Saturday at Soma Grille. I loved the bright main dining room inside the charming Simsbury 1820 House. Carlos was a pleasure to work with, and I appreciated his helpful suggestions and attention to detail. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed. Along with the nice, attentive staff (Jess and Aidan), everything made the shower a wonderful celebration that was enjoyed by all who attended.

“Factory Square is a huge old factory that was converted into a mixed-use space. Parking was free and plentiful; you have the option to park on street or in their huge lot. It's located on a paved bike trail too; the entrance by the bike path didn't have an elevator but on the side entrance, there was one. The space was spacious, loved the exposed pipes, bricks, and the historic feel.

There were a few businesses that we visited on this occasion. The first one was Perkatory Coffee for some caffeine; then Rosie's Royal chocolate for some sweets; then The Lab for lunch; finally, Witchcraft Brewery for a beer. Service from these places were great. There were tables and seats in the hallway you can dine and relax at. Other businesses include, a bakery, a pet shop, CrossFit, escape room, arcade, etc.

I think this is a great use of space and a fun spot to hang out at. I loved all the options there. I think they're constantly adding new businesses too. Overall, a fun spot and worth the visit!“

“I’m not sure why the recent reviews I’m reading through now are on the negative side! My husband and I accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant (we happened to be in the area), and immediately were met with excellent hospitality. I am gluten free and vegetarian, so finding a place with kind servers and food I can eat is becoming increasingly difficult. They serve complimentary bread up front (which most restaurants don’t even bother with anymore) and have an option for gluten free bread(if you ask for it) at a slight up-charge. I ordered the Korean rice bowl and my husband ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese..the food came out super fast and was delicious. I have a very low spice tolerance, so I thought my bowl was on the slightly spicier side..but it’s Korean style food so that’s to be expected. We ordered a peanut butter bar for dessert, also gluten free. I didn’t get a picture unfortunately, but it’s was super rich but not too sweet. Definitely worth the trip!! People need to start writing more positive reviews for places because this restaurant definitely deserves more positivity.“

“We felt the food and atmosphere were great, definitely a bit more of a fancy place than we normally go to. A bit pricey but the food was very good. My only issue and the biggest reason we most likely will not be going back is they do not have or offer a kids menu and were not very accommodating to kids. I understand it’s fancier place to eat but I was very unprepared when I had my son with me not knowing they did not have a kids menu. He ended up eating French fries for dinner and I had to go home to make him something else.“

“Overall, I had a good experience at The Common House Kitchen & Bar. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable. Most of the food was very good, although a few menu items advertised fries, onion rings, or berries as included, but they weren't. The chicken pasta was a bit disappointing and lacked flavor, but everything else we ordered was well prepared and enjoyable. I'd still come back and try more items from the menu.“

“Evergreens is the main dining experience at the Simsbury Inn. Many Wedding go on simultaneously and rea held by reservations way in advance. The dining quite is very fine. Fine dining is very expensive for most. Evergreens is elegant and vey well sought after.“

“The food Is pretty good. The service isn't bad. It's just a bit unorganized and quite slow. They only accept cash, but they do have a ATM area. You can differently have a conversation and talk.It's in a church cafeteria. I would encourage. Trying to at least once. The turkey wings are my favorite from this location.“

“We are up from Texas for the summer and I told my wife I wanted to try restaurants that we have not tried before. My SIL and her husband came by and they let me pick the restaurant and so I chose knowing nothing about this restaurant. The food was amongst the best that I have ever had and the others agreed. The Hanger Chicken was my choice and I can not speak to highly of it. The spiciness was very good but the sauce was fantastic. Raven was our server and she was fantastic and joked along with us. “Just had our first meal here. The entire restaurant is filthy. Our dishes that held our silverware were reused. Our table was dirty To where we washed it with our drinking water. We were ready to leave but had put in our order and wanted to try food. The food Was decent but pricey for amount you got. Called manager over to show him how thick the dust was on ledge where everyone sits And eats. He said he was new. Not an excuse. Restaurant was empty now I know why. The whole place smells dirty as soon as you sit down and have to breathe in one spot. This restaurant will not last if things don't Change. It will be a repeat of Chips restaurant all over again.“

“This place was beyond amazing. I have been here personally for food with friends before but never for an event. I used this place for my 2 month old baby’s baptism luncheon. (On st Patrick’s day) Shannon, the event manager was absolutely fabulous to work with. She even followed up with me after her first email since I have a terrible memory and forgot to reply to the first outreach. She made the whole event super easy and seamless. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that. I am a new mom with a 2 month old so complicated processes will never get done. Shannon made everything super easy and friendly. She was available by phone and email. Any questions I had she comfortable to ask and when I changed the salad she made it seem like it was nothing. I cannot say enough great things about her. (P.s this place was extremely well priced too for absolutely FABULOUS food) The day of, we were 30 minutes early and the room was all ready for us and let us choose whether to be in the room or hang out at the bar. Jackie was our waitress and she was amazing! I am a neurotic mom who can’t remember anything and she totally helped me out. When I was walking around talking to guests she brought the drinks to me. She was beyond professional, kind, helpful and nice to all of our guests and us and our family. We got TONS of compliments on Jackie and the food. We got the bronze package and replaced the salad with a Cesar salad, the chicken plate, steak and pasta bolognese. Delicious! They were the perfect portions and super tasty. Again, we cannot say enough great things about Jackie! We had extra people show up and within moments she had spaces created for them. She and her team were great and I hope she knows how wonderful she made the day!“
