“Food is always on point. I ordered from the Sunday brunch menu and picked it up. The lobster omelette , lobster mac and cheese , chicken and waffle, lobster blt, Hennessey wings were all delicious. I would have given them a 4.5 if that option was available . Only gripe was time it took to wait for the order. Grub hub said it would be ready at 12.40. Got there they said give us 10 minutes. Food wasn't ready till 1.20. Also recommend adding restaurant on uber eats for those that might want to order that are farther away and do not feel like driving to pick up.“

“the chicken sandwich was pretty good. the vread was fresh it was seasoned well. but they must and I mean must leave making collard greens alone. it's cool, it's not for everyone. They had no seasoning and whoever made them cut none if tge "veins" stems out“

“it’s a chill spot they keep it nice and clean always I come here all the time and the people are always friendly and welcoming and they also have another spot in west Hartford and I like that one as well oh and we can’t forget the chicken 10/10 for me I“

“First I want to say that I live in RI, so I have a decent drive to Hartford, but Black Eyed Sally's is no joke, the food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is peaceful and amazing.
I haven't been there for their live entertainment yet, but I'm going soon for sure.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys some good barbecue, some good Ole soulfood, and some of the best appetizers I've ever eaten, and let's not forget the mouth watering cornbread.
I fell in love with their fried green tomatoes, and you will too.
This is a restaurant worthy of 5 stars in any food category.

“My husband & I eat there often. We go to the one in Sturbridge Massachusetts & East Windsor Connecticut. Always great service & wonderful food! The gift shop is terrific, too! They have a rewards club, I encourage everyone to join ( it's free!!) & the points add up quickly. ( save the points until you have enough for a meal. )“
