The beef shawarma and hummus were spot on, and you can really tell everything is made with care. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. “Outstanding restaurant! (and we do a lot of our dining in NYC!) Local 63 is an oasis in Watertown, CT in a variety of ways. The food is creative (even when the dish SOUNDS traditional). The chicken fried steak (hard to even find in New England) is outstanding. The salads were awesome: perfectly dressed with great crunch and freshness. The Cassoulet (originally a French farmhouse dish) with chicken, in-house sausage, and white beans cooked to perfection is something you will not find in many other places. Great bar--friendly atmosphere and great for large groups and celebrations. This is a hidden gem with excellent service and owners who obviously care! I will go back and bring many other guests here when I have a chance.“

The service was amazing, the gentleman behind the counter was one of the nicest I’ve come across. He was prompt and attentive and kept a smile on. “Went here last night to see what the hype was. In my opinion; are they the best wings? No. Are they the most crispy sauced wings? Yes. Absolutely the best blue cheese I’ve had that complimented the sauce. The tater tot poutine however was phenomenal. A cheese pull in every bite. Dare I say it was better than what I had in Canada. Lastly, the Harry’s Butterbeer drink was so good I wish I had more! My only gripe was I was told it was going to be a 45 min wait, I left my phone number to be texted. I wound up waiting almost an hour and a half and never got a text. Apparently their system glitched and said it sent, but was not the case. I however was seated immediately after explaining the situation.“

I love their tacos and burritos. they have added metal covering over the area where you place your order and over an area outside where you can sit and eat. you can also go inside where there are tables and plenty of toppings for your food. it's clean. there is a bathroom also. “Over the weekend, My friend and I got stuck in the a snowstorm. We’re from New York originally, so being stuck in a small town like plantsville was a bit out of the way… we were famished and parched; nothing was open… we stumbled across the great Uncle Jack Noodle on Apple Maps with a lit up green sign saying “OPEN”. We rushed over to the restaurant, and parked very handily, across the street. Free Parking. Very Wonderful. We walked into Uncle Jack’s and were greeted with very warm smiles and friendlyness. Absolutely Stunning. Will be dining in next time! All in all, Uncle Jack served the most amazing noodles i have ever eaten. I ordered the Uncle Jack Noodles & boba tea and my friend ordered the Drunken Noodles spice level 5!!! We ate not even HALF of our meals within becoming full. Even then, we couldn’t help ourselves to more. $15 for my meal was more than enough. i had leftovers and then some. Thank You Uncle Jack, for being not only a restaurant, but a home as well.“

“I got take out. It was amazing sushi and the hibachi noodles were a hit. One thing of note, absolutely do not park next door. There are signs but I assumed since I was just running in it would be fine. It was not. My friend waiting in the car immediately was descended upon in the literal 90 seconds it took me to grab my food and told with much intensity to move the car immediately. They really have adequate parking at SushiQ, I just overshot their driveway. Enjoy a delicious meal!“

“Amazing beers, but I wish they would make more double ipa hazies and maybe some triples. The one thing that went downhill when they moved is experimentation. They don't experiment nearly as much as they did in Hamden. Also the main floor needs some activities, there's not much to do. The upstairs has some games but it's always rented out. “jimmys food is excellent! however I was there for the 1st time last week, our waitress was not friendly with us. no personality, no smile..brought our food put it down walked away, said nothing. then 5 mins later, as she was walking by the table threw the receipt down, said nothing. Never came to see if we needed anything else or how the food was, she never offered desert, so we didn't get that. I had to go to the counter and ask for a box, as again she never came back to the table. there were only a few tables full, so she wasn't overly busy, meanwhile I'm watching the other waitress there, smile and laugh with her customers. I wish I knew her name, because she definitely needs to learn people skills. ohh I also heard her complaining to a customer who she must've known, about her training someone and now the other girl is waiting tables and she was not happy that this girl was doing her job basically 🙄“
