This is not the location, this is an empty venue, with a chain on the door. The restaurant is at 1829 M St. NW.
Bubbies was the last out of town place I ate at the end of my 2.5 week, 6600 mile, coast to coast, 30 state road trip and it was the absolute best of them all. I had the beet burger with the cashew cheese and an order of jalapeño poppers and I died. I’m actually dead right now. I’m not terribly into being buried so I was cremated. It was quiet the first couple of days but on the third day(symbolic), a little moisture seeped into my urn and I was able to form a couple of arms out of the water ash mud. I popped the lid off and crawled to the nearest computer to leave this review. I don’t know how long reincarnation takes but I hope it’s real and Bubbies is still around when it happens. I would drive up from Atlanta every day on my lunch break. I mean, I’d probably be fired pretty quickly but those popperrrrrrrrrs.
Unbelievably delicious, got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and was taken aback by how amazing it was, I haven’t had bleu cheese in over a year and the cashew cheeses here are unparalleled. The Parmesan cheese fries are a must have. Will definitely be coming here again next time I’m in DC, as it’s one of the best plant based places I’ve been to.
Address is listed wrong on google maps and requested a pickup order. Despite being able to order through google with no correction of the address, the establishment refused a refund on my order despite not being able to pick up the food. I don't care if the food is good, if this is the service, I don't recommend.
The burger was out of this world, but the location isn’t correct on Google Maps. It’s 1829 M St NWOtherwise, it’s a really good meal with great flavor!
Bubbies is AMAZING. True vegan food wizards who make incredible sammies. Personal favorites are the Buffalo fried chick’n and the monkey wrench. So good! (Be sure to go to the H street location!)
Absolutely fantastic! Would highly recommend.Don't go to H street! Make sure you go to the right address - went to h street first and couldnt find it and checked their website. Correct address is:1829 M Street NW, Suite 100, WDC 20036
Yooooo I forgot I had ordered from a vegan spot. Mostly cuz the delivery time on DoorDash was over an hour, but also cuz I SMASHED that sandwich and the fries.Got the Nashville HOT. Not the threat to my heat tolerance that I was promised, but good heat and good flavor. Again, FORGOT it wasn't vegan. Buttery flavor comes through. Good, crispy, meaty chick'n. Fries and the yum sauce on pointLooking forward to having it fresh in the restaurant post-pandemic
I've ordered delivery twice, and my order has been missing items both times.Edit: updating review, upping to 3 stars based on how good their nuggets are. They seem to have stopped missing items. Will up the stars if they keep it consistent now.
Should’ve taken the first order cancelled as a sign to avoid ordering. Second time tonight was successful though regretful. We ordered the fried chicken, Caesar salad, bleu and double burgers all with fries. The salad was salty and and an aftertaste. The bleu burger was gross.Fried chicken was soggy, sloppy, and only appetizing with all the ingredients removed leaving the chicken alone. All three of the fries we ordered tasted overly peppery and were soggy and seemed undercooked. The double burger was honestly the only highlight. The food arrived cold, soggy, and likely damp from sitting in the car for an hour. From order to deliver took around 2.5 hrs. Took two phone calls and an IG message to get in touch with the driver who shared they were overwhelmed with orders.I rarely write google reviews but felt this was needed to share as I had no way to provide feedback through delivery site.

Ordered the Buffalo Chicken and Pulled Jackfruit sandwiches, Cobb salad and fries —the sandwiches were pretty good! I particularly loved the retro pink packaging.Unfortunately, the Cobb salad was missing most of the ingredients (the bacon, blue cheese and croutons) even though was priced at $15 after I added fried chicken for $2.50, so that was a big disappointment. Note, UberEats refused a price-adjustment. We also didn’t care for their ranch dressing, so I’ll stick to Sweetgreen for salads, but would definitely order the sandwiches again.Overall, Bubbie’s is pretty average for vegan food offered in the DC area, which isn’t a bad thing because DC vegan food is delicious.
I'm very disappointed with my experience with bubbies. I got a text that said my order would be ready at 7:25 and when I arrived at 7:35 they told me my order wouldn't be ready for 35 mins. I waited for it, and during that time the woman working there told me they ran out of onion rings so they would refund that. I asked her if that was it and she said only the onion rings. Once I finally got the order and went home I noticed it was missing 2 orders of fries, two sauces and b
My Buffalo chicken burger was so delicious! I was super pleased to see my burger covered in pickles too. I love me some pickles. The cutlet was perfectly breaded, fried, and sauced. I think in the future I may ask for extra cheese to help cut the spice a little more. Also got french fries, nuggets, and salad. Problem was the nuggets and fries were no longer the optimal temperature when my brother had brought me the food. I enjoyed the spicy creamy sauce that came with the fries and the agave mustard that came with the nuggets. The salad was tasty too with that cheese and candied pecan topping!
I just ordered from here via Postmates. I was excited to try it based on the description. Only for my order to arrive completely incorrect! It was like they didn’t even read the ticket and it was also missing my fries... since the bag was stapled together I know it wasn’t the Postmates drivers issue but the restaurants. They also don’t have a phone number on google in order for me to call the location. Certainly lost a new customer before even getting to try their food.
Went to the popup last night. Some of the best vegan food I've ever had.
