My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Riggs last weekend. Overall 5 stars nearly across the board. I gave 4 stars for the room itself. However, the service was outstanding. The friendliest, most accommodating valet staff I've ever encountered. Front desk was top notch, Riggs cafe staff, terrific. Breakfast was elegant and very delicious. The bar area and Riggs cafe is beautiful. We look forward to visiting DC again to stay at the Riggs as much as anything....
Stayed here for three nights this summer. Can't say enough good things about it. The location is great - there are a bunch of good restaurants within a couple blocks. The hotel is nice. The people at the front desk were very friendly. Cafe Riggs on the first floor is beautiful and an excellent place to have a glass of wine at the end of the night. Our room was great and great for sleeping - it was quiet and dark at night.

Loved the location, close to walking to about anywhere.
Rooms where clean, a bit small. Smaller than I expected them to be but comfortable otherwise. Staff was great and every friendly.
We are breakfast a few times during our stay.
Was anxious to do so due to having to eat from the GF menu and breakfast items can be not much of an option at most places.
