I just ate here for lunch and I feel like a lot of the bad reviews come down to people expecting this place to be something it's not. It's not a fancy Italian restaurant. Nor is it a trendy fast casual pizza place. It's a pizza by the slice joint of the kind where the guy sticks your slices in the oven for a minute and where all the tables have those little jars of cheese and red pepper flakes. At almost $5 a slice for pepperoni and mushroom, the pizza went from being decent to under valued. The service was friendly, and the AC was nice and cold on a hot August day. Surprising how few people we around this area but that meant peace and quiet while we ate. Can’t quite figure out what kind of place this is. At almost $5 per slice don’t bother! I’m a native New Yorker, as in New York City. I should have walked away when I ordered a slice and the guy behind the counter said “cheese pizza?” Diehard pizza fans know there’s no such thing! Pizza was soggy. Crust was Wonder-bready! Don’t waste your time or money.
