We arrived for my birthday brunch on time. We were seated, but nobody approached our table for over 15 minutes. I asked the hostess what was happening. She said they only had one person serving the entire restaurant. This, on a Sunday with peak Cherry Blossoms, a Nationals game, etc. After getting no further response, we left, having never been greeted, asked to be patient, offered a drink while we waited. Nothing. An extremely disappointing experience to say the least.

It took 15mins to check in for my reservation, 25mins for my order to be taken, watched the ladies that came after me get their drinks within 5mins of sitting down. After 15 more minutes of waiting for our drinks, we got up and left. Horrible service to say the least!

Opentable Diner

We were seated for 30 mins without any service. When we indicated to the staff we needed their attention we were ignored. The cafe was not busy at the time and it was very off putting the lack of service we received. Will not be visiting again.

The restaurant was very loud and we could not hear ourselves. The food and service were ok but overpriced.

A great place to have a meal before seeing a show at The Anthem. Comfy, delish food with friendly and helpful service. Kohanesauane took good care of us and made sure we were on our way before showtime!

Our food took forever and was of poor quality. We had to ask server for status of our order and they seemed as if patrons were an imposition.

What I ordered and what I got was definitely not worth the price, I felt as though I paid $40 for a cheese pizza. I did created what I wanted, which was a shrimp pizza. I'm not over exaggerating it wasn't even at least a shrimp per slice, it was every other slice and not even a whole ones. order took foreverrrrr to come out, It use to be my favorite spot, I'm not sure what changed but the operation was not a smooth. The MOD did offer 20% off, I guess by what he observed or not getting my order in a timely manner.

We were looking for an outdoor brunch area that was cute but reasonably priced and this was perfect. It is right on the Wharf so you would expect it to be louder but it's actually not. You can sit inside but we really enjoyed sitting outside with a great view of the water. The staff and food were great as well.

The service was great. However, but the food quality was mediocre at best. I had salmon with a glass of Chardonnay and my husband and son both had the wings and fries with a beer for my husband. Our bill was $117 with tip which was price for the selections and quality. We were surprised because we ate at this location a few years back while staying at the Hyatt next door and it was much better. We will try again because the setting is great overlooking the Wharf's pier.

After telling our server that we had a deadline to get to the theater, we still had to ask twice about when we might receive them. It was two salads. Salads. Not a complicated entree to cook Also, we were charged a different price from the one quoted in the menu.

Very good food. Very casual. Wonderful view. Beautiful over the Potomac. Food was better than expected. Bar service very horrible; thought they forgot our drinks! ABOVE ALL : exceptional kind service from Jewel!! We loved this server. Kind and smart. !

Canopy Central Café & Bar offers an exceptional brunch experience with their standout dish, the chicken and waffles. Without a doubt, it's the highlight of their menu. We also tried the tacos, but they couldn't hold a candle to the deliciousness of the chicken and waffles. The restaurant boasts spectacular views of the Warf, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to experience. The atmosphere is lovely and casual, perfect for a leisurely brunch. However, I felt that it could benefit from some background music to enhance the ambiance. What truly sets Canopy Central apart is their outstanding service. The server and hostess went above and beyond to accommodate our group, which unexpectedly grew from 5 to 8 people during brunch. The server was especially kind and even took special care of my little kid, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, we had an amazing time at Canopy Central Café & Bar, and we'll definitely be returning for the stellar service we received. If you're looking for a great meal with a fantastic view and top-notch service, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

We were so surprised to find this gem in a hotel on the wharf! My husband especially loved it because we got delicious full-on brunch food in a much more relaxed atmosphere than a lot of DC brunch places. We were at a table by the windows looking out over the water, and had a really lovely meal.

Looking for a brunch place on the waterfront and we chose Canopy because the menu looked good and we wanted a nice view. Got there and wasn't aware that this was the Hilton's hotel cafe. Wasn't what we expected and a bit disappointed but was hungry and it was a nice view and not crowded, so decided to stay. The service was good, but was pleasantly surprised that the Mimosas and the food were all very good. Great presentation and very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I would definitely go back. Also, seemed they easily accommodated a big party, I would recommend. It wasn't particularly fancy but the service was very pleasant the space itself was very nice and a great way to sit and look out over the Potomac while having Sunday Brunch.
