The restaurant surprised me with exceptional vegan dishes that were not only delicious but also creatively presented. The restaurant's decor was cozy. I recommend it to anyone looking for a unique culinary experience!

Very disappointed. For a place that seems Gluten Free friendly you would think they are knowledgeable about their menu items and will let you know if there are certain things that might not be gluten free to try and look out for the customer. I’ve been to gluten free friendly restaurants before and they make it a priority to always keep the customers who have a gluten sensitivity safe. But nope. Not this place. They don’t really know what’s gluten free or not and quite frankly they don’t even care. This really threw me off. If you really care about business and your customers please pay more mind to what’s actually gluten free and isn’t ! By the way this is the first bad review I’ve ever written.

Great food, great sophisticated cocktails, and just so nice, friendly atmosphere, not to mention decor.

I loved this place! If you're vegan or vegetarian, this should be on your go-to list of places to eat in DC! The food was delicious, and the service was top notch. And they even have vegan macarons, which are superb!

In town visiting my daughter she made a reservation for us. Really cute decor. We arrived during happy hour had delicious potato skins, so flavorful. I enjoyed the jackfruit entree, big serving. Lots of unique choices with many gluten free options. I did not order a cocktail but they have a good variety. Service was excellent friendly, explained items on the menu, pointed out favorites etc. would definitely go back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free items

My husband and I ordered some vegan dishes to include in our wedding spread for our vegan guests, but it was a hit with all of our guests! They decimated the vegan cheese and fruit board and loved the sandwiches and lasagna. Our guests raved about the food and said it was some of the best wedding food they'd ever had.Thank you so much for the incredible spread! We were so pleased!Vegetarian options: It's all vegan. :)Dietary restrictions: The whole menu is vegan with gluten-free options!

I often order the "chicken" caesar salad and have it delivered and believe me it is the best dinner. Everything about it is delicious.

Food wasn't fresh, cold and not tasty at all. Felt like it was a prepared meal someone forgot to hit in the microwave and the price for the dishes are super high!Too bad because the service was really nice and cocktails were lovely, and the atmosphere was great as well. Wouldn't go there again unless I know the kitchen has changed from end to end.Vegetarian options: Food wasn't good at all, kitchen seems to be unhygienic

The crispy artichoke bowl is the best vegan food that I've had in DC. Artichoke was perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a great crunch. The bowl is by default half grains and half salad. I really liked the grains, so next time I will ask to see if the half salad can be substituted for all grains!I was also eyeing the desserts but opted out of getting anything, although they are still on my bucket list!

My non-vegan friend and I had a great experience here. I got the crispy artichoke bowl, and she got the potato skins, and both were awesome. Don’t miss this place, whether you are vegan or not. Nice friendly casual vibe upstairs.

I love vegan food. And I love the atmosphere here. I just wasn't super impressed with the food. We had the Tofu and Wild Mushroom bowl and the Braised Jackfruit. The tofu was pretty incredible; the rest was good, just not worth the price tag. It's definitely a cool aesthetic and the cocktails were tasty and well-done.

Had dinner at DC Vegan on my birthday recently and it was fabulous. The food was fantastic - we got the cheese plate and potato skins to share, and all of us got the filet mignon… The service was honestly the best service I’ve had anywhere in as long as I can remember. The decor (we were downstairs) was exactly my style - dark, floral prints, plants… I have a new favorite restaurant! If I lived closer to DC I’d be there all the dang time!!Vegetarian options: 100% vegan as the name suggests!
