I've lived in the DC area for over 32 years now and Italian Kitchen has always been a favorite of mine and my partner whenever we get to Dupont Circle. This past visit was a bit disappointing though. They've changed the menu and it seems drastically reduced.
We always would order a half carafe of chianti but it wasn't on the menu. We asked the server about it and he did bring one out, though at $23 it seemed rather pricey.

Delicious food, great atmosphere. I got the salmon and sauvignon blanc and loved it. Excellent service. All 5 of us loved our meals and experience. We will definitely be coming back soon!
