The restaurant was beautiful, the food was very delicious and the service was excellent. But mid-way through the meal, a DJ started playing very loud music. It was so loud that my dining companion and I had to lean across the table to hear each other. If you like extremely loud music during brunch, the the Dirty Habit is the place to go.
If I could, I would give a rating of 4.5 stars. I met a friend for brunch on 10/26. We had the bourbon biscuits, salmon burger, hamburger, cosmopolitan and "Melon In Between" cocktail. Good food, good cocktails and the DJ was on fire! For a rating of five stars, let's turn the volume down on the music just a tad and speed up service. With a reservation, I still had to wait for a table and felt abandoned by the hostess while waiting. Others eventually noticed that...
Went to Dirty Habit DC and honestly, it was a disappointment from start to finish. The hostess greeted us with a stank face and zero professionalism felt like we were inconveniencing her just by showing up. Then, instead of being offered normal water, we were given hot water at the table. No menu for drinks other than alcohol, which made it clear they don’t care to accommodate everyone.
The food? The chicken came out undercooked, which is completely unacceptable....
