We struggled to get a server to take our order. Some drinks were depayed and some of the food came out wrong. Happy hour items are a good deal and once we got the corrent food it was very good.
The menu for this restaurant on open tables was not accurate as of 1/17. No entrees were available. Was very disappointed but that has more to do with open tables than the restaurant. This is a solid place to get a sit down meal and some drinks. But it is not great good.
Waited a long time for any service. Ordered 2 beers that never came and eventually left. No drink menu and out of lots of things on the menu. Went to Clyde's next door and it was great.
First time at district bites. AJ was our bartender and was awesome, very personable and funny, told us about all the good hockey rivalries we need to attend. Music and tvs were also great!

Totally disappointed in a place that accepts reservations when they are not open to begin with. Next time I would definitely check Open Table and mark it as not open. We were looking for somewhere to grab bite before the concert. Not impressed.
Beware. Capital One arena emailed all the great specials this place was having so we decided to eat here before our concert, Open table even let us make a reservation to an establishment that isn't even open on Tuesdays. Huge waste of time. I honestly don't know how the food is because they advertised as being open when they actually weren't.
District Bites is a great neighborhood spot that keeps things simple and does them right. The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care — the sandwiches were well put together, the sides were spot on, and everything came out hot and satisfying. Service was friendly and quick, and the vibe is casual and easygoing, perfect for a laid-back meal. Solid portions, fair prices, and consistently good food make this a place I’d happily return to.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience from start to finish.
We were seated at 5:45 pm and were not acknowledged by any member of the wait staff until around 6:10. Even after that, we did not receive water until approximately 6:20. This was especially frustrating given that the restaurant was packed ahead of a hockey game and clearly understaffed.
While we eventually received drinks and food, the quality did not make up for the wait. The fried chicken sandwicharrived completely plain—none of the sauces or toppings listed on the menu were included. When we asked for sauce, it never came. The sandwich itself was bland, overly breaded, and lacking flavor. We also ordered a burger, which honestly tasted worse than fast food. A second burger and a beer were ordered later and never arrived.
We had to flag someone down just to get the check and speak with a manager. While the food was comped, we were still charged for four drinks totaling about $51, which was surprising given that it was happy hour. The manager attributed the issues to the internet being down, but this explanation didn’t align with what we observed—when staff were present, many were standing around talking while the restaurant remained busy.
The only bright spot of the evening was the host, who noticed we had been sitting for over 30 minutes without water. She took our drink order herself, ensured the manager made them, and personally brought them to our table. She was also the only staff member who genuinely apologized for the experience.
Overall, despite the food being comped, the combination of poor service, underwhelming food, and lack of accountability made this a place we would not return to—especially before a major event.

This spot has potential to be good but the service was awful. Our server took forever to take our order and kept saying she'd be over to take our order but then forgot us. Our reservation was at 530pm and our food was still botched at 645pm. They didn't have a drink menu and the server didnt know pricing. When we finally ordered, it took forever just for a salad and wings. The server forgot our beverages and my salad dressing as well as the shrimp on my salad. She flat out said she forgot everything. I'm not sure if she was new or not but I probably won't come here again. Maybe service is better at the bar. My experience was terrible.

The only issue I have at District E is that whenever I come there and it's a crowd my order is taken and the waitress never comes back to check on service or if anything else is needed. I was there recently and she took my order at 8:15pm by 9:01pm I still hadn't gotten my drink. If it was an alcoholic drink I would have gotten it. It was a sweet tea. I literally had to go to the manager to get my drink. She never came back for the payment of my food. I went to the manager to let him know because I wanted to pay for my service. I understand it's busy but either get more servers or servers who will make sure the bill is paid so they don't get docked because someone walked out without paying. Please stop over booking for reservations. Other than that I love District E.
