Iced Latte
Dolcezza at the Hirshhorn Reviews
I had a iced chai latte. The service was friendly and informative. We sat outside with our drinks and had a good time. Probably the longest I've ever sat at a coffee spot but I was more interested in my company than the coffee or in my case iced chai latte
In the middle of a hot day I found this place on the map. I was hungry for real pistachio gelato and this place did not disappoint (except for price, almost $10 for 2 scoops!) I left Italy a month ago and had been craving this, it was the good stuff.
Stopped by here for a coffee - they had a pistachio latte that was delicious! With their house ground pistachio butter. The almond croissant was also delicious. There are tables to sit and drink right by the coffee counter.

Dolcezza at the Hirshhorn offers a great selection of coffee, pastries, and ice cream. The indoor coffee shop serves top-notch espresso, and the outdoor gelato trailer provides amazing flavors like coffee & cookies, mascarpone & berries, and hazelnut crackle. Customers often enjoy stopping by after visiting the museum, making it a popular spot. The staff is friendly and skilled, and they cater to dietary restrictions by offering almond and oat milk options. The espresso drinks, such as almond milk mocha latte and iced almond milk vanilla latte, are well-balanced and not overly sweet. Many visitors describe the coffee as smooth and perfect in sweetness — some say it has ruined all other coffees for them. The gelato's texture is silky and smooth, with unique flavors worth tasting. Despite being a bit pricey, the quality of the drinks and ice cream, along with the pleasant open-air atmosphere overlooking the courtyard and art, make it a worthwhile stop at the museum. Visitors also praise the ice cream, calling it amazing and one of the best outside Italy. The ice cream is served at a small outdoor window on the west side of the building, so there's no need to go inside for it. Many recommend arriving right when they open at 10 o’clock to avoid the rush.
