Pavilion Café Reviews
Has a quick coffee & pastry. Was decent for the price and location.
This was a great stop while walking around DC, and situated nicely in the Sculpture Garden. The menu is pretty limited to simple sandwiches and salads, but my Montreal Beef was still very tasty. Great bathrooms and water-stations around back, too! Try it out!
Person taking out order definitely lacked customer service skills. She made me feel like taking my order was an inconvenience. Food is okay, it’s premade and warmed up but tastes alright.

The Pavilion Café is a cozy spot near the National Art Gallery, perfect for warming up on a chilly day. It serves good coffee, breakfast pastries, sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, quiches, and little pizzas. The café has both indoor and outdoor seating, with beautiful views of the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden and fountains. The setting is bright and calm, making it a nice break from the busy Mall area, especially on sunny days.
While the menu is limited, it offers a varied selection that appeals to tourists visiting the museums. The prices are reasonable, and the café is clean and air-conditioned, with plenty of tables and chairs. Employees are well trained and friendly, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. Though some customers mention that food portions can be quite small, the quality is good, and free refills are available. Overall, the Pavilion Café is considered by many to be a great place to eat on the National Mall, making it worth a visit.
