Amy recommended this through the DC by foot walking tour Facebook page… and it did not disappoint me! I had the BLTA… Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado sandwich… And it was awesome. I may not be able to go to it again this trip… But I’ll plan to add this to one of my favorites.
All I can say is the only thing better than the outstanding food is the incredible customer service. The next time we are on DC, I will go out if my way to visit one of the locations.

Despite the occasional mix-up with orders, Duke's Counter remains a great spot for a satisfying meal, especially after a visit to the nearby zoo.
