A small group of us decided to go her for lunch because it was recommended to us. Note you do have to go downstairs but there is outside seating if you unable to go downstairs. The food was interesting especially the savory waffles was something we weren't ready for. The waffles batter is mixed with chives and blue cheese ,so just don't expect the normal taste of waffles. My friend and I did the chicken and waffles, which she disliked because of the taste. My other friend had a huge burger and I was really jealous of it. And for my usual appetizer I had the bread pudding, which I was not happy with. Most bread pudding I am used to has either raisins or nice caramel or rum sauce but this one was quite bland and not sweet.

I wanted to love my burger but it wasn’t my favorite. It was tasty, but a little too greasy for me. Ordered a cocktail and it was way too sweet. The caramelized onion dip with chips was way too salty. Unfortunately they only had one person staffed upstairs when we went so service was slow (felt bad for her). Atmosphere is nice and seems like a cute neighborhood spot. Maybe I’ll try the happy hour next time.

Cute place and the service was good but the menu is quite limited and it’s all way overpriced. I got a sandwich and fries and it was over $20?? Food was very good, but place is rather casual although priced like a midrange restaurant. I wouldn’t really recommend it. The happy hour though is halfway decent.

Their proper burger was our favorite burger spot in the entire DMV area. Our last visit was met with disappointment however. Meat tasted salty and elite corn was not as saucy. Service was excellent however. Host carried our heavy stroller up the stairs so we could sit somewhere more kid-friendly. Wait staff checked on us often and food was prepared promptly. I hope the saltiness was a one-off so we may give another chance.

Duke's Grocery is pure foodie heaven! The white truffle mac and cheese is so good it should be illegal – creamy, rich, and truffle-tastic. The Cubano with chicken schnitzel is a crispy sensation, with tender pork and melty cheese perfection. Pair these with bottomless mimosas or Bloody Marys, and you'll be in brunch paradise. Highly recommend – your taste buds will thank you!

i liked it 5 stars def if it wasn’t this one error the chicken tasted weird on the kids menu might just be my opinion. but the fish and chips were amazing so I highly recommend it ! Overall I rate this mostly 4.5 stars !!
