The place looks ordinary, but the service is good and you get a great breakfast at a reasonable price. Highly recommended if your goal is a good breakfast.
Coffee was very good. Pain au chocolate was not particularly fresh. It may have been that it was lunchtime, but even then is seemed on the stale side. It gets loud in there, hard to have a conversation when it's busy. Outdoor seating is available, but it's not covered.
Hands down best cheap coffee price I’ve found in DC; staff are very friendly and have very quick service, giant delicious pasties are only a few bucks too; a staple spot of mine I’ve visited multiple times since finding it

Dupont Coffee Collective is a small coffee shop with a great location. The interior is a little tight with bar seating at the windows and a couple of small high top tables, plus a few tables outside. The customer service is friendly, fast, very welcoming, and quick. The coffee is good, including the americano and the amazing hot chocolate. For food, the pastries look great, especially the spinach & feta croissant. The oatmeal raisin cookie is also great. It is a good place for a quick coffee or a quick snack and is highly recommended.
