Georgetown Cupcake, which I genuinely consider one of the true kingdoms of cupcakes.
Their buttercream is absolutely incredible. I have never tasted anything like it, not even among the countless imitations out there. It is rich, perfectly balanced, and unmistakably theirs.
What really stands out is their constant creativity. They reinvent their cupcakes all the time, whether inspired by holidays or special events. One recent favorite of mine was the unicorn shaped cupcake, playful, beautiful, and clearly made with care.
Another impressive detail is their consistency and quality. These cupcakes are so well made that you can leave them out of the fridge for a couple of days and they still taste fresh.
The place itself is beautiful. The concept, the graphic design, the atmosphere, and the people working there all communicate the same thing. Passion, love for what they do, and a real desire to create something special. It feels like one of those rare little gems where you can genuinely sense the care behind every single detail.
The cupcakes were not overly sweet, which I really liked. However, the latte felt a bit too watery and tasted more like it was made with brewed coffee rather than espresso.
The staff’s menu recommendations were excellent.

Delicious and so cute!!! The only cupcake shop left from the cupcake boom and with good reason. They are the best.
I ordered the cupcakes online for nationwide shipping. I was so excited to try them. What a waste of $50! They are not fluffy they are very hard and the frosting consistency is thick and hard. I would not order again!

The employees that work here are ridiculous. Theees been countless times I’ve experienced people walk in get acknowledged and serviced BEFORE me . In literally standing here waiting for a pickup order . Five people have come and gone . Im still here . The Asian employee looked me dead in my eyes and helped a customer that came in literally after me . He waited to serve that customer to even acknowledge what order I had . I will never ever ever patronize this business as long as they have these flustered and confused employees who don’t know a damn thing about proper customer service . If you can’t take the heat stay out the kitchen ! Literally waited 30 minutes for some damn cupcakes due to poor customer service.
I knew better than to order a simple drip coffee from here, but I took a chance and did it anyways considering it was relatively cheap. It took about 10 minutes to come out, which is fine if a new batch of coffee needs to be brewed, (I’ve been a barista before so I get it). However I’m not sure if the white boy working at the coffee counter knew what he was doing, as he handed me a cold cup of coffee. Politely asked the boy for a new cup , but instead of throwing out the old cup of coffee, he just threw my coffee into a cup and steamed it, (which is extremely unhygienic) and gave it back to me. I watched him throughout the whole exchange because I had a gut instinct this kid wasn’t going to do what I had asked for. Anyways I will not be coming back , this was trash and so was the service. Waste of almost $3.

Not sure what happened but sometime fall quality just dropped big time. 3rd time since Oct all 3 times huge disappointment. We always made detour and made sure to stop here when we are in town but now I wouldn’t stop here even if i’m passing right by it. Management doesn’t seem to care but eventually it will catch up.

Strawberry cupcake was absolutely trash. They can't sell something like this. Cake was so gummy. Don't add wet ingredients if you don't know how to work with it. And frosting was like sand. They didn't whip it long enough you can feel sugar grains
