I came here a few months ago and had their Alfredo, and it was so amazing and the best I had ever had so I had to come back. I’m not sure what happened if they have a new chef or something changed, but when they brought me the fettuccine it was so small that I thought I had ordered the wrong thing on accident. See the picture for reference but this is literally a 23$ pasta with 12 noodles on it. The noodle itself was still crunchy on the inside (this is coming from someone that loves al dente pasta), it was just straight up undercooked because it was still white on the inside. When I talked to the waitress she was really taken aback and started to explain to me what al dente pasta was and kind of had an attitude, when I literally love al dente it was just so not that and super undercooked. The manager came over and was really nice about it, he explained that their pasta machine was broken so they were using a different shape for the dishes but the quality was just so drastically worse across all the food we got (not just the pasta) since the last time we came so it was really disappointing. The kicker that made me actually make an account to create this review is that when we went to pay the tip it was calculated for four entrees instead of two (we had to send both entrees back because they were super undercooked, they comped them which was super nice) the waitress tried to make us tip her on all four entrees!! this was probably a mistake but when we talked to her about it she was kind of rude again and was like “I don’t have a calculator idk” it was honestly crazy. Overall I was so disappointed with my experience, some of their food here is definitely good but it was just super off putting and we had a really bad experience. I have never made a review on a restaurant before in my life lol

I was devastated when I showed up for my reservation today when I realized my reservation was actually for tomorrow, but I left feeling QUITE the opposite. The hostess (I did not catch her name) told us she could squeeze us in as long as we didn’t stay past a certain time (which was so generous and more than enough time to begin with). We ordered our drinks, and when the drinks came, the (manager? bartender? i’m not sure) brought them out and even included a drink he said he created the recipe for yesterday and wanted our thoughts on it! all of the drinks were amazing. the hostess came to our table and told us she even moved reservations around so we didnt have to feel rushed (wish we didn’t to begin with)! it was just so sweet. our food was just as good, if not better. our server (anthony) was so kind.i had high expectations of the food going into dinner but the service was just as great!

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible: we shared the burrata, the garlic bread, a pasta, and a pizza, and had two cocktails each - such a great meal. We sat at the pizza bar which was spaced well, and very cool to see the kitchen. Our waiter was great, and they have a very cool speakeasy bar/restaurant through the back that we went to for a nightcap. Would definitely recommend

The service wasn't great. The food was really good but definitely overpriced since the portions were small.

I really wanted to give a 5 star review because the food was incredible, however the service was slow for the price point. Plus, the 4% surcharge added onto the bill is deceptive. Our waiter explained that instead of raising their menu prices, they just tack on the fee. However, it’s not clear on the menu what exactly this fee goes towards. Why not just raise the price by $2 and stop fooling customers?I’d come back for the food for take away or to sit outside- the inside was cramped and very loud.

Great food and superb service! ~ a little strange on arrival ~ place was completely empty (at 5:00pm when we arrived on time for our reservation), and the staff seem apoplectic when we asked to have a table instead of bar seating.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The general manager Daniel was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of despite our last minute request to change the reservation.

The pasta is cooked wonderfully, but the sauce is very salty. The first couple bites will be enjoyable, but then it just becomes salt overload. Caesar salad was a major standout…one of the best I have ever had, with amazing flavor and textures. As for the pizza, it’s 3.5/5 good. The “Drunken Love” pizza is the one to go for without a doubt. Very solid and respectable, but you can find better pizza in the DMV. The trendy atmosphere here is great though. It feels very upscale and trendy. The staff are pleasant sand the servers are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.

We went for dinner (party of 4) on a week day evening. The crowd in the restaurant, bar, and lounge in the backroom were packed with after-work-hours office colleague get togethers, plus other Washington DC regulars you'd see downtown on a weekday night. It was lively, festive, and fun.The food is terrific, the service is beyond wonderful. Everyone (waitresses, waiters, bus persons) all stopped by to assist us at all the right times without any need for us to "look for help." We each were offered another cocktail just as the ones we had were almost empty. Our water glasses were always full.I really like this place. It is located on the street level of a modern building, and there is dining space inside, and outside! But, because of the design of the building, the outside dining area is in a covered space that feels sheltered and removed from the hub-bub of the street noise and traffic.Get in here for great food, with great service, in a great location.

Staff outing for lunch?! Yes, I will take it! I dined in at this establishment with my colleagued as a reward for a very hard week of work! We decided to treat ourselves. The ambiance of this restaurant is luxury and it has a very artsy and classical feel to it! Dim lighting, with the aroma of garlic filling your nostrils as it goes throughout the air! For my drink I had a fresh and vibrant lemonade! I ordered a salad for my appetizer and also calamari to share with my colleagues. For my main course, I ordered shrimp scampi! Let's just say that the salad was the bee's knees! It was bountiful, fresh, and tasted like absolute magic! I have never tasted a salad so delicious! The calamari was fresh and crispy! It came with a marinara sauce, as well as a garlic mayo aioli sauce! Yummy! No rubbery stuff here! LOL! For my main course the scampi!!! OH YES!!! The pasta was bucatini pasta, and it was doused with fresh herbs and nice and juicy shrimp! My goodness, it hit home!!! Lastly, the service was on point! Everyone that was on staff was friendly and made us feel welcome! Me and my colleagues were on cloud nine! We will be back! Cheers to good eats!

For my birthday celebration, my father and wife treated me to Grazie Nonna. Despite it being a busy Monday, we snagged a cozy corner spot in the restaurant, which gave us a New York City vibe. Our server, Khaled, was exceptional, not only hosting us but also offering fantastic dish recommendations. We started with cocktails and enjoyed calamari along with a couple of pizzas--the Sweet Tooth and Drunken Love, with the latter being my favorite. Next, we indulged in the Sunday Sauce and Vodka Sauce Macaroni, both incredibly delicious. Although I wanted to try the alfredo, we were too full, so we opted to take it to go. To cap off the meal, Khaled surprised us with tiramisu for my birthday. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with Grazie Nonna and believe I've found my new favorite Italian restaurant in DC. Plus, with ample seating both indoors and outdoors, it's suitable for any weather.

5 stars!!! Excellent food, our server was fantastic (forgot her name ), and the vibe in there is classy, elegant, but fun. The manager at the door was a little less pleasant, but other than her it was a warm and positive experience. Spicy martini was fantastic!!! I can't wait to have that again. Food: We had the La Luna salad, Drunken Love pizza, Vodka Sauce pasta, and Sunday Sauce pasta. All absolutely delicious! I can't wait to come back here again. If you have time after your meal, make sure to walk into the other side of the establishment to find a cool, sexy bar: Grazie Mille.
