Stopped in for lunch and got the 3 tacos ? for $15. I had the mushroom, chicken, and braised beef tacos. My favorite was the braised beef! The strawberry limeade and salsa w/chips were solid as well. Next time, I'll try the queso.
I recently tried Taco City DC, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. Maybe it was just an off night, but everything tasted bland, unremarkable, and definitely not worth the price. The chips seemed like they were a day or two old, lacking any of the crunch and freshness you’d expect. I ordered the crab quesadilla, which was almost flavorless, and the $14 guacamole had visible brown spots, making it unappetizing. It was the mushy liquidy kind, not the chunky...
I was staying around the corner in DC and I ate at this restaurant about five times. Everything I tried was very good. The staff is very friendly. Thank you for taking care of me while I was visiting.
