I came here for brunch to celebrate my birthday. The food was amazing! I highly recommend the Shakshouka and the Morrocan Pancakes as highlights on the brunch menu. The decor and ambience of the restaurant was amazing! It took them a minute to seat us even with a reservation and not many people in the restaurant, but the food and vibes made up for it! Gypsy Kitchen is now one of my favorite brunch places in DC!
A Stunning Display of Mediterranean Flavors Gypsy Kitchen delivers an absolutely masterful meal that stands on the quality of its food alone. We went specifically for their proteins and were blown away by the execution of every single dish. The Lamb shanks are a must-order. They arrived sizzling, tender, and properly spiced. The flavor was deep and savory, achieving that perfect balance of a beautiful char on the outside and juicy, medium perfection on the inside. Simply phenomenal....
First time here and loved it. Mediterranean style tapas as well as some imported charcuterie. Best I've probably had outside of Italy. Cocktails were creative and delicious too. Last but not least our server was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return.
