This is an ideal place to relax, drink, and chat. It's also a small business with a lot of friendly regulars. It's also an Ohio bar. The food is solid, but the atmosphere is really the draw. The person who is serving you or working in the kitchen is highly likely to be the owner.
Johnny’s is one of my favorite neighborhood bars! The staff is always so lovely and helpful and the food is great. Whether meeting up with friends, celebrating someone’s birthday, or getting their Taco Bell Tuesday specials I’ve always had a great time at Johnny’s.
This is one of the places in DC that I take all my family and friend who are visiting me. And I think that says a lot about a place.
I’ve been coming to this bar since they started, and it’s honestly one of my favorite spots. It has such a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel like you’re part of the family as soon as you walk in. The people here are incredible—they’re genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a great time.
