Great dining experience! Great service and food! 5 ⭐️s!

Kingbird is a highly recommended dining option located in the Watergate Hotel, easily accessible from the main entrance. The restaurant offers a personalized dining experience, with knowledgeable waitstaff. The menu features a variety of cocktails, wine, and large portions of appetizers and entrees. The Kale Caesar is a popular appetizer, and the prix fix 3-course dinner is a great option. Guests can enjoy beautiful views from certain seats, such as the one overlooking the water. The Black Ink Zuccia pasta and squid ink pasta are delicious, and the high tea is amazing. The environment is aesthetically pleasing and cozy, with attentive service. It’s an excellent choice for celebrations or a pre-show lunch, though prices are on the higher side. The food is generally good, but the restaurant could use a refresh in decor, especially the window blinds. Visitors have praised the attentive service from staff like Miguel and Omar, and the expertly mixed cocktails from bartender Sean. The restaurant is convenient for pre-theatre dining before the Kennedy Center, making it a popular choice for special occasions and gatherings in DC.
