An unexpected find in a D.C. hotel with delicious Italian food. We were very pleased with the ambience (quiet but not stuffy), the service (attentive but not overbearing) and the food (really quite tasty). Would recommend and will go again.
The calamari was to die for and the lasagna was next level. Would highly recommend
We stayed in the River Inn the past few days. We ate breakfast every day at Matera. The food and service were great. Especially Sandra! She really took care of us and remembered our preferences. She was awesome.
