The best Southern food I have had since moving to the DMV. My husband had the salmon and grits (great combo) and I had the gumbo. The desserts were tasty too. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Walking up to the restaurant I smelled marijuana from the patrons. It was a group of young adults who were unorganized in planning but also dining in. The staff was attentive and continued to serve the other patrons including myself. Our waitress was wonderful and so was the food. The atmosphere was not as elegant as I expected, but the food and service made up for those things. Items were a little pricey but we gave it try.

2nd time eating at restaurant. Everything was great except for 2 things that they need to work on. The chairs were cloth and had many visible dried stains, and you are sitting too low to the table because the cushions are worn out. Need to invest in seats that you can wipe down. The first time we were there, we knew there was a 20% service fee, which was fine, but our waiter told us his tip was not included. On the 2nd visit, our waitress advised us of the 20% fee, but she stated...
