Kyojin Sushi

I went on a Thursday evening at 8pm. Places was actually busy. The food and atmosphere was great. My server was so sweet, and helpful! Loved here. Will be back.

Delicious and great vibe. Did the fixed menu, which was the perfect choice. You get a little bit of everything and the flavors are exceptional. If I went again I would probably go a la carte just to try something different. Drinks were also really good! Quiet enough where you can have a great date night. Service was exceptional.

Enjoyed the ambience and the service was good. Unfortunately the food was incredibly bland and overpriced. The price I could ignore, especially considering the area, but despite the more premium ingredients, the food tasted no better than what I could get at a grocery store for much less. There's a creative and interesting use of ingredients, yes, but that's not translating to good, well developed flavor here. I ordered the gyoza, uni pasta, lavender smoked salmon nigiri, and dream roll. The only one of these that was passable in terms of taste was the dream roll. The worst offender was the gyoza, which came with good dipping sauces, but the gyoza itself completely lacked flavor and only came with 3 tiny pieces.

This is an awesome place! Very cool ambience, creative menu, delicious food and great service. It is very expensive so just be prepared you will be feeling poor when the bill comes.

Restaurant costumer service is next to none. Phone calls are never answered, neither are the messages to the host.

I was very excited to try this restaurant after hearing amazing things about the food and ambiance and booked a reservation to celebrate a birthday which was noted on the reservation. The service however was outstandingly horrible and ruined the whole experience. No mention of the birthday or even a singular candle was brought out. I think you could get better service at IHOP in terms of the attitudes, disengagement, lack of formalaties. Very disappointed especially when expecting to celebrate a joyous occasion.

One of our best meals ever. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. Everything was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back again and recommend to all of our friends.

Such a wonderful experience. Everything was so fresh and tasty. All the proteins melt in your mouth. It is worth it to get it whatever you want with truffles and/or caviar. It is with the extra price. Mariano was such a great waiter. His recommendations are on point! Definitely listen to him. I highly recommend coming here. Some of the best sushi in DC.
