The best Thai food in Washington DC (and I am a big time Thai food aficionado). There has never been better! The only downside about this place is that it is a bit pricey. The overall value for your money isn't quite as spectacular as the taste and quality of the food itself.

Little Serow continues to be such a gem! The food is amazing, flavorful, and just as delicious as some of the best I've had in Thailand. The service here is even better, they take the time to explain everything and offer great recommendations for wine pairings. We hadn't been able to go for a while because of the pandemic but when I found out that they were doing take away orders, I knew this would be a great Birthday treat for my partner. My schedule was really tight and I requested a pickup earlier than when they opened. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Everything was packaged beautifully as well. Still one of the best restaurants in town and honestly given the quality, quantity, and service, I would all this a good deal as well.

I've eaten here in person pre-pandemic and through takeout. Dishes are flavourful and exciting. But some of the dishes are crazy spicy! And I can handle a good amount of spice. My favorite right now is the beef curry. The beef is incredibly tender and the curry with their rice is just delightful.

A friend recommended this spot to me while we were visiting DC. It's currently doing takeout only, so it was a great stop after a long day of hiking. The set dinner for two comes with:- Nam Prik Num & Crispy Pork Skin- Herbal Pork Sausage- Tom Kha & Pumpkin- Isaan-Style Catfish Laap- Crispy Rice Salad- Chicken Kua Kling- Mekhong-Whiskey Marinated Pork Ribs- Khanom KrokMy favorite thing (hands down) was the crispy rice salad. I love crispy rice. It has a great texture and the sauce was delicious. The pork ribs were my second favorite thing. The meat was so tender that it was falling off the bones. If you're interested in trying some Thai dishes that you won't find at most Thai restaurants in this country, check this spot out.

This used to be a 5 star experience. The food was great, the ambiance was cute, service was nice. They had authentic flavors, didn't hide the spice, and told all the snowflakes that if they had allergies that, well, tough. However, they aren't open for in person dining. Takeout only now. And the food is simply not the same in takeout format. The experience of small plate, slow food, is lost. Environmentally it's a nightmare as well, creating so much unnecessary waste from takeout containers.Get over the covid fear nonsense and reopen.

Simply delicious. We ordered a takeout from this place a while back. Everything was neatly packed. It's a shame we couldn't eat in person. I am sure the plating would have been even nicer. Food portions were sufficient and all items tasted yummy. Highly recommend this place!

Got the golden mermaid set menu takeout. Food was packaged well, with detailed instructions. BUT, everything was sooooo salty, even the shrimp green curry (which is usually creamy and slightly sweet), and the coconut rice (to go with the curry), and the dessert - THE DESSERT!!!- were too salty. Why?!?!?!?! It could have been an impressive meal if the chef had a bit less love for the salt.

I had high expectations ordering from Little Serow, and my expectations were met! Tried a couple items— the wings and dry chicken curry, both had complex flavors and were quite unique! I can’t wait for the restaurant to open up for in-person dining to try out some more cool things.

I’m not surprising anyone by giving Little Serow five stars, but the food is just excellent (get the crispy rice salad). Unlike other great restaurants, the food from here makes for great takeout. It has kept us going through the pandemic

Maybe my expectations were too high going in, but take out from Little Serow was a bit of a disappointment. Portion sizes are so small for the price, and the taste was just pure spice without any other flavors or nuance. I couldn't believe how small the shrimp dish in particular was! There are many other Thai places on DC where you'll get great taste and great value for money. Maybe the dine in experience is better, but won't be doing take out from here again.

Fantastic marketing, no name sign, address, phone number or social media. The guest can't choose the food, it's set course meal prepare by the chef. The favor of the food is really refreshing and intense.

This place is great! I love prefix menus when places get it right. This is definitely one of those places. A little bit pricey but I think it's worth it. Favorite dishes i had were the crispy tofu and spicy pork ribs.

I think this place has the best Thai food I've had in the US. Truly authentic northern Thai (which I think is the best) food. If you love the complexity (sweet, salty, spicy, sour) that Thai offers at its best, Little Serow is absolutely a place you must try. Be prepared for assertive flavors - fish sauce, chili, and offal - but all prepared perfectly. I hate waiting in line for a restaurant, but I've done it 4 times for this place and never had an experience that was short of exceptional.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in DC! So grateful they're offering takeout right now. They have safe COVID practices, offering takeout to pick up at a table outdoors. I've been eating here for years and have only had incredible meals.

This is one of these restaurants that's on the Best of DC list year after year and where we'd always wanted to go but somehow never made it. There's really no excuse except that it's a tiny basement place, doesn't take reservations so there's always a likelihood you might have to wait in line in order to dine - for a prefix dinner at over $100 for two and having to wait in line just might not be something everyone would find appealing. However, now as a result of the pandemic, it's become takeout only, plus in addition to the prefix menu for two, there are also a number of a la carte options which I don't think was available before. Online ordering is very easy, the website works well. Pick up smooth as well - they have a little table set up outside and one of the staff will go inside to bring the order out to you. This time we tried the Mekong whiskey pork ribs, curry shrimp, and the minced cat fish with cabbage (lettuce might work better however). This is definitely not your average Thai food. Everything is delicious and full of interesting flavors and spices. Just a bit pricey, small to average portions but well worth the splurge.
