I was looking for something quick to eat and realized I haven't had any Mexican food in DC. This isn't the place. The rice and beans were cold, and I ate 2 out of the 3 tacos.

I don't recommend this place. My wife and I were racially profiled. We were told they were closed as soon we came through the door despite the fact that there were multiple people sitting around drinking and eating upstairs and downstairs. I asked what time they closed and they said they were closed now and it was a quarter to 12 but the closing time is at 2

Great food and service! I was amazed by the portion of the fajitas. I just worked out and was super hungry, and I still could not finish them.

We went on Saturday night and no one was in there, which was great, until the overall smell of the place hits your nostrils. We couldn't eat there and had to leave because of it.

Went about 6 months ago and it was fantastic prices now prices have drastically increased. They’re basically any other restaurant charging $5 a taco,

LA native here. I just don’t understand the 4.4 rating. When I came in there was no one upstairs to greet me so I had to go downstairs to the cantina. Two other people came in and had to do the same thing. Why have a host station to greet people ? Then, service was slow because the kitchen is downstairs.Flavors were good but the chicken in the mole poblano was dry. The tortillas and guacamole were good but the beans were slurpy. I came home smelling like a Mexican diner. $35 for lunch? . IMO, probably a better place to get a drink than a meal.

Popped in for dinner on a whim and WOW. The best Mexican food we've had in DC. Great service, prices, and stellar food. Special shout out to the rice and beans, and cactus that came on my carne asada. We've already planned to make it a regular spot.

Uff, a new gem in Adam's Morgan. Street Tacos are superb, you can tell they make their own tortillas. Margaritas on-point, not too sweet. Definitely looking forward to check the rest of their menu.

I found the best hidden gem ever!!While walking through Adams Morgan last night . I went to Los Molcajetes and boy did I enjoy it. The drinks (Amarca Dolor) and the house margarita were fantastic served by Chuy one of the greatest bartenders in town . and the tacos were so nice and fresh.

Had an incredible time trying this restaurant. The food was some of the best Mexican I've had in the city. Margaritas are made with fresh juice and so light and easy. But the best was the service! Juan gave great recommendations and was very funny. We had such a great
