I didn’t realize the restaurant was about to close when we arrived—only 20 minutes before closing time. Despite that, the staff welcomed us warmly and still decided to serve us without hesitation. They made everything fresh, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Yesterday after driving an hour calling and confirming that they had pasteles en hoja a dominican favorite during Christmas I proceeded to placed and order for 1 dozen and also order 1 dozen beef empanadas for a total cost of around $100 dollars, upon arriving at home notice the empanadas dough was very dried hard and sticking together, this morning i went ahead and cook one of the pasteles just to see and it was awful, there were no ground beef in it, only few raisins, and they...read full review
Very disrespectful staff. I waited in line, while someone was at the register chatting with the staff and eating the flan (dessert) that they purchased. After the individual left, and I was the next customer, the staff member served others who were around me and did not serve me as the customer next in line.
