This is an EXCELLENT traditional bakery and "street food" restaurant. It's expanded it's seating options but you still can walk in, grab a tray and tongs and fill that tray up with palmier, bolillo rolls, Mexican pastry turnovers, traditional cookies and cakes. I go out of my way to stop here when in DC.

I’ve been admittedly nervous about trying Mexican food on the East coast, but Mi Casita was stunning. The tacos are great, the prices are good, the workers are kind. I didn’t get to try their baked goods but they looked delicious too.
