Best croissants in town for sure! They are delicious! 😍
I was looking for something light with my coffee and found plenty to choose from at Le Caprice. The almond croissant had a crisp, flaky outside and a soft center, and the fruit pastry was fresh without being overly sweet. I also grabbed a small loaf of bread to take home, which had a nice crust and stayed fresh later that day. The bakery was fairly busy, but the line moved along and the staff was pleasant. A nice little place for pastries, bread, and a quick breakfast.
I got a slice of tiramisu cake and I have been all around dc trying various tiramisu and I was so happy with this one! It was 6.99 for a hefty slice and the ratios were perfect! It leaned much more towards cake with thick spongy layers but still had the layers marscapone and topped with a layer of coco powder. Truly, a perfect balance. Many other of the baked goods looked delicious!
