About Monstera Burrito

Monstera Burrito is a popular spot known for its flavorful and satisfying breakfast burritos. Customers often praise the quality of the ingredients, especially the meat and tortillas, which are seasoned well and deliver a rich flavor in every bite. The breakfast burritos, including the Sun Up and El Jefe, are considered some of the best by visitors, with the tortilla and salsa verde receiving particular praise. The salsa verde, especially the smoked version, is highlighted as exceptional, adding a great burst of flavor to the meals. Many appreciate the generous amount of meat loaded into the burritos, which makes them filling and delicious. The restaurant offers a clean, open space with both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a comfortable place to work or relax. Service is described as polite and efficient, with quick turnaround times, especially during off-peak hours.

However, some customers have noted issues with price and portion size, mentioning that the burritos have become smaller over time, making them feel less worth the cost. A few found the Super Breakfast burritos too oily or spicy for their tastes, but plan to try other options like the barbacoa next time. The overall experience is highly positive, with many visitors planning to return for the flavor, quality, and friendly atmosphere. Monstera Burrito stands out for its balanced seasoning, great tortillas, and flavorful accompaniments, making it a top choice for breakfast burritos.

Really good burritos probably one of the best I’ve had
I was not a fan of the Super Breakfast burritos. I tried one with chorizo. I don't know if they didn't drain the fat properly but it was super oily and one-note-just tons of chorizo, couldn't taste the other flavors. I also had the spicy eggplant one. It was too spicy for my tastes. When I go back I'll try the barbacoa, I think.
One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had and the salsa verde that comes with it is unreal. That said, shrinkflation has come to Monstera. A year ago, each burrito was easily 1.5-2 meals, so $18 was more reasonable. The burritos are still $18, but they are about half the size they used to be. The food is great, it just feels overpriced now for what you get.
