Blue bottle coffee is a downtown Georgetown staple set aside for only the most elite coffee lovers. The shop has a beautiful view of the river, tons of outdoor seating and indoor seating. Though there is often a line for coffee, it is worth the wait. Each drink order is truly poured with love, intention, and care. This time we tried espressos!
"Must be good!" We thought as we walked up the steep steps. Every seat from the outside patio to each table within was spoken for. We thought an event was going on but apparently that's just the typical Saturday night. I'm surprised they had coffee left for us! I was stuck between the Saffron or sweet latte. I've tried almost every cafe in Georgetown that serves matcha lattes and this is by far the best. The only downside is that there is not a lot of table eating inside and the furniture is not very comfortable. So, this is a place I go when I want a drink to go, rather than to it down and relax.
