Nerds & Nibblers is a side street cafe in DC with a spacious but quiet atmosphere, making it a nice spot for breakfast and coffee. The staff may seem unprepared, but they try their best and provide friendly service. The food, including the falafel wrap and pancake platter, is decent but slightly overpriced. Many customers have enjoyed the tasty breakfast burritos, which have a good mix of veggies, potatoes, eggs, and meat, and can be made with turkey sausage for a healthier option. The open kitchen adds a nice touch to the dining experience, and while the pancakes may not be as fluffy as expected, the eggs are good. The coffee is excellent, which is hard to find in the city.
