I love the Nobu food, having dined recently in other locations, Atlanta and Atlantic City. The DC venue is a great location but with poor ambiance, feels like you are eating in a former office building. Music noise level was extreme although they did accomodate our request and turned the volume down. Our waiter was wonderful but clearly they were understaffed given an almost full house on a Sunday night.
Service was quick, attentive, and helpful. Pricey, but you get what you paid for. Drinks (the Woodford? or something similar), apps (sticky rice with spicy tuna, beef/shrimp skewers, jalapeño tuna, king crap tacos), entrees (cod w/ miso, spicy shrimp, A5 wagyu steak), desserts (cappuccino, bananas foster-like dish), all top tier. Would come back for dates.

We had reservations for our party of 6 tonight and had an unfortunately poor experience due to the service. It took us half an hour to get drinks, and then we had to chase our server down three separate times to get the bill.
