I love Phonatics. Something about the texture and flavor of the broth makes it my favorite, and I love sitting at the window and watching 14th St. There is even a bald eagle that flies around Columbia Heights that I occasionally spot from the window.

First time in the DCA area and was looking for some good Pho. I stumbled upon Phonatics while searching for the best pho in the DCA. Upon arrival I was greeted with kindness from their workers. I order the pho dac biet special, beef brisket banh mi, and summer rolls. The pho broth was amazing and clean. That first sip gave me that euphoric feeling I was looking for. We were in DC over the weekend visiting family and had an incredible experience at PhoNatics Noodle Bar! We ate inside the restaurant (although there TONS of to-go orders picked up while we were there. The service was outstanding, and the food was even better. Our group couldn’t stop raving about the Banh Mi Beef and Banh Mi Grilled Pork sandwiches. The caramelized meat paired perfectly with the fresh veggies and sauce— absolute perfection!
