The food tastes good but service needed work. The combination Pho only had two ingredients which was meatballs and flank. Usually there is boba smoothies but they didn't have the boba. I'm just glad they had decent portions and the flavor was pretty good.

Some of the most delicious pho I have ever had. Service was kind and quick - big menu with lots of options as well. I will certainly be back and recommend to everyone I know

I’ve been eating at this place since 2023, and it is definitely the definition of “Comfort food”. There are many Pho places in DC, but this one has the best taste! The Pho has always been delicious, with a consistent taste and good amount of meat. The dishes are varied and served fast but without missing a detail. The prices are also very good.

Solid experience with Pho here. Came here multiple times when I was living in Columbia Heights as a government seeking employee between approx. 2020 and 2022. This place was definitely good.

Delicious authentic Vietnamese food! I've been here three times now, and each time I loved what I ordered. The first time I had the rice plate with grilled lemongrass chicken (com ga nuong), the second time I had the pho tai chin (eye round steak and well done brisket), and the third time I had the vermicelli bowl with grilled lemongrass chicken (bun ga nuong). The lemongrass chicken here is so good. The food reminds me of the rice plates, vermicelli bowls, and pho that I had when I visited Saigon last year. The staff is all super friendly, and I enjoyed chatting with them, practicing my Vietnamese. I will always try to stop by here again when I'm in the area. I highly recommend Pho 72!

Recommendations: Spring Rolls
A decent and standard pho place. Service needs improvement because the server was always in the kitchen when I needed him to order, check out, etc. I think there are better pho places than 72 in D.C., so I probably won’t come back again.

Best pho in the neighborhood, with veggie options. Wonderful family-run place, and their banh mis are top.
The pho and summer rolls are average for the DMV. The ingredients are there, but the flavors leave more to be desired.
Beware: The Pho 72, which is listed with the same ingredients as the classic Pho Dac Biet, doesn't come with meatballs, tripe, rare beef, or anything you'd normally see. I received a standard looking pho with more thin cut, overcooked beef.
There's better and more authentic Vietnamese places elsewhere.

feels authentic. i’m from the bay area and have had my fill in different pho places. The service was very fast and friendly. Way better than Pho 14 close by. They take ages to make food. I mean 30-45 minutes after you order.
